ROCKNE
I've been offered Rudi Johnson & Isaac Bruce for Curtis Matrin, Donald Driver, & LaBrandon Toefield. What do you think? Is Rudi that much better than Martin? Is Driver that much better than Bruce? I might offer Chris Brown, Travis Henry in place of Martin but not sure that is a fair offer. lynch
IMO, Rudi Johnson is going to break into the top ten RB's this year. But I have been a Bengals fan my entire life, so that tells you something. I don't like the move from Driver to Bruce. Giving up the second RB is silly also. Martin had the better year last year. I have no problem going from Martin to Johnson, I just don't think you should have to take a hit at RB depth and WR to do it. I wouldn't take this trade because, even improving at RB you hurt your team, counter back with a different WR set, maybe let us see your team and maybe his team so we can give you some options. rhippens
i like rudi but this trade does not help you that much. i wouldn't do it until a more even trade offer comes up
Roo
I think he's actually going after Toefield here. I like Rudi over C.Mart, but both should be productive. And Driver has an edge over Bruce, sort of - kind of a wash in my opinion. He's looking at Toefield, and you should be too - don't give him up - he could be one of the (Moore/Goings/Blaylock) who tears things up come week 9. I mean, how long do you think Taylor will last? Roo
If you can start 3RBs, and he bites on that, then yeah I would try it. Then you'd have J. Jones, Martin, and Rudi, which is pretty solid, especially since you have Manning and Gates.
ROCKNE
Start 2 RB's. Would have a nice backup in case Jones gets hurt. Would that be a better situation (a good RB backup) while suffering a decline from Driver to Bruce? We start 3 WR's.

JO-E
DO THE TRADE! If I am you I would def do the trade......... In what round did you pick Toefield....... my point exsactly.... Rudi is a top RB and Martin WAS last year... chances are he wont do what he did last year and even if he does I still like Rudi.. I like Bruce better than Driver also........ so its a win win snag the stud RB hurry up and do the trade
ROCKNE
I may do it if he goes for Darrel Jackson in place of Bruce. However my goal is to have Martin, J Jones & Rudi so I have a decent RB backup in case Jones goes down.
Adrenaline
I would do the trade. I have Driver ranked slightly ahead of Bruce, more because I'm a homer than anything else. IMO the difference between Rudi & CMart is much greater. Toefield is nothing to you, if you can get a better trade that would be great, if not this still improves your team. lynch
I would wait on this trade until you decide on the other offer. The offer containing Manning is a much bigger option for you to weigh. Let us know what you decide there and then we can help you a little better.
ROCKNE
What if I countered with Martin, Toefield & Driver for Rudi & Darrell Jackson? Wouldn't you rather have Darrell Jackson over Driver? I know Jackson is unhappy about his contract, will that effect his play? Would you rather offer Coles and keep Driver?
lynch
I think it would be a good trade if you could get D.Jax if you were going to lose Driver. Offer Coles and try to get D.Jax back. He wants Toefield make him pay to get him.
