godtomsatan
Do the Eagles repeat? I say very likely. Philly and Dallas clearly better than the Skins and the Giants.

Perchoutofwater
Eagles 11-5 Dallas 10-6 Washington 7-9 New York 6-10 I'm a Dallas fan, and I still think Dallas is a year or two from being a real contender. They still need at least one WR.
Caveman_Nick
I think the NFC East is quickly becoming the best division in the NFC. The NFC North is in turmoil. The Vikes and the Pack are on a downward trend IMO, regardless of how 'revamped' the vikes D looks on paper. The BEars and the Lions are in an upward trend, but I think for this season all the teams will meet somewhere near the middle. The NFC South could be a tough division. It has yielded some competetive playoff teams. The problem with that division is consistency. It's like a box of chocolates, if you know what I mean. The NFC West...well, 'nuff said. The NFC East has the perennially good Iggles, a strong looking Dallas team, that is of course hoping for a resurgence from Mr. Bledsoe, an upward trending skins team that is only scoring points away from being competetive (they have the tools, they just lacked execution last year), and the giants...well, that all depends on the development of a guy named Eli. I for one think he's going to bring it this year, even if he is naturally a Rosie O'Donnell. I think the NFC champ and at least one wildcard comes from the NFC east this year. Goopster24
I think Eagles once again run away with this division. I don't think this division is close to being the best division in the NFC. The Giants have and Cowboys have a while to go before being true contenders and the Redskins always perform below expectations. Eagles are heads and shoulders the best team in this division and in the NFC.
The Irish Doggy
Its hard to go against the Eagles there, but they have to fall from the back-to-back-to-back-to... 11+ win seasons sooner or later. If it was going to happen, I thought it would happen last year. Dallas and the Skins should be better off this year though. I could see one or both of them as a wild card team. spain
How? I mean, I'm trying to think of someone that doesn't suck on their offense besides Portis.... 909648[/snapback] Well, you do have a point there and I am not going to defend the Deadskins. But lets face it, they had arguebly the best defense in the league last year. Their defense will be outstanding again this year and will keep them in almost every game. Their o-line got hurt by injuries last year and should be intact with Jensons return. This will be Gibbs 2nd year, and the 2nd year Ramsey and company will have in that offense, so they have to be better dont they? Again, I am projecting an 8-8 sort of season based on an outstanding defense and an improved offense.

I hope Portis does well though and I truthfully think he is the only person that has a chance to do well. Ramsey will improve but it'll take him another year. They have shown no confidence in him. I guess this year is different, somewhat.

Kid Cid
I see a lot of you picking the Giants to bring up the rear in the division. Well, I would be so sure about that. a 7-9 or 8-8 season is in the offing for them once the Offense is squared away. No, it is the major malfunction that is the Wash Redskins that will hold the cellar this year. Once you get through all the newspaper hype, there just isn't a lot of positive stuff being said about that team. The Dallas team is a QB away from being playoff worthy. That pretty much leaves it the Eagles to lose (god I hate saying that). Eagles 12-4 Cowboys 9-7 Giants 8-8 Redskins 4-

Obvious homerism aside, simply having Ramsey starting all 16 games is worth 2 additional wins. I think many people either don't know, or don't remember, just how incredibly bad Brunell was last season. That's some of the worst QB play I've ever seen, and I watched through the Heath Shuler years as well as the "Spurrier Experiment". The offense can't help but be much better. Patten + Moss is a better WR tandem than Coles + Gardner. Period. Gardner was just not good here, and Coles will never be the same until he gets surgery on his foot. The offensive line will be much better with the return of Jansen and the addition of Robach. The D will be about as good as last year, and maybe even better if LaVar gets healthy and Holdman or Marshall can hold down the MLB spot. I'd say 8-8 is a good guess for the Skins, with a shot at 9-7. Eagles 10-6 Skins 9-7 Cowboys 9-7 Giants 6-
