dolphindan1
My team....well my 5 keepers....12 team league we keep 5....and can only trade out of those five till draft day....I have Tomlison, Dillon, Holmes, Steven Jackson and Chad Johnson....I have one offer that I want to accept...Holmes and my 6th round pick for Alexander and Carson.....Now I was offered Edge and and a 7th round for Dillon and Chad....I dont really like the aspect of that offer but Was gonna counter for him to throw in Trent Green....What do or should I do....or should I take the 1st and sit pat....any thoughts?? Our 6th round is basically our 1st round....after 60 players are off the board...make sense
MrGameTime
I think I'd have to pull the trigger on the trade you want to accept! That would leave you with Tomlison, Dillion, Jackson, Alexander and Chad WOW!! that's a nice squad and this is a 12 team league........I don't know who you're playing with........... Roo
Yeah make the trade and dominate with the top two RBs. Depending on your league's starter format, you could also trade Dillon for another top 5 WR or top QB, and sit back coasting to the SB. I mean, that's an insane team - almost to the point where I really would not want to participate in that league.
dolphindan1
I have just been offered Culpepper for Holmes....Should I do this instead of the Alexander/Palmer trade????
ts
If I understood correctly, since you can only keep 5, the offers really are: 1. Priest+6th for Alex. 2. Dillon+CJ for Edge+7th. 3. Priest for Cpep. You currently have LT2, Priest, Dillon, SJackson at RB. If you can only start 2 RBs (or even 3) I think I'd consider trade #3, since it's the only one that gets you a significant improvement at a position you don't already have filled... however, I'd want a decent draft pick along with Cpep for Priest (or offer Dillon or Jackson instead of Priest), would not do that deal even-up. dolphindan1
I would get to Keep Palmer too since trade will not be official till draft day...So I would be trading away my pick in place of Palmer...make sense...We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR and 1 flex at RB or WR, 1 TE a K and Def
ts
I would get to Keep Palmer too since trade will not be official till draft day...So I would be trading away my pick in place of Palmer...make sense...We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR and 1 flex at RB or WR, 1 TE a K and Def 914156[/snapback] That does make deal #1 more attractive, assuming you think you'd have to spend a 6th round pick to get Palmer...maybe a bit pricey? Alex vs. Priest seems almost a jump ball, but I guess I'd rather have Alex, given the choice ... I still think some variation of deal #3 offers you the most bang for the buck in terms of upgrading your team overall.
dolphindan1
I was thinking of counter offering Deal #3 maybe swap our 1st round draft picks....that would give me the 1st pick in the draft....our 6th round is our 1st round....Would that be a legit offer or still not enough
Wizards
Gotta like Alexander trade for Priest..this is a keeper league and you have a great foundation to dominate for years...Alexander is destined to be elsewhere next year and is alot younger than Priest...jump ball in a keeper league always goes to the young stud IMO....with the RB's you have..you can still get a trade "EASY" for a QB and/or a good #2 WR....you'll have Palmer and you can go after a top "D" and kicker early with your line-up...base a trade for QB post draft IMO..take the Alexander deal and don't look back....Priest days are numbered in keeper leagues..his value is as high as it may get...
