ROCKNE
Almost every site ranks McNabb 3rd. He had a great year last year but..... the two years before that he only had 16 & 17 TD's. With TO being a headcase, is his value really that high? Will TO be there all season? Without TO I see McNabb as an average QB. Am I wrong? The reason I ask is I am in discussion with another owner about a trade. I would get McNabb,LT& Dillon for Manning,Julius Jones & Curtis Martin. Any thoughts? Here is my team... Eight Team League QB – Peyton Manning QB – Drew Brees RB – Julius Jones RB – Cutis Martin RB – Chris Brown RB – DeShaun Foster RB – Travis Henry RB – LaBrandon Toefield RB – Marshall Faulk WR – Marvin Harrison WR – Donald Driver WR – Laverneaus Coles WR – Deion Branch WR – Keyshawn Johnson TE – Antonio Gates K – Jeff Wilkens
ROCKNE
Also consider that Westbrook appears to be adament about his holdout. He was a major part of the passing game.
GhostRiders
I expect that as we look back, we will see 2004 as McNabb's career year, with highs he will never reach again. Also with Buckhalter hurt last year, the Eagles passed more than they will this year. So even with TO, I expect that he will drop slightly from his total last year. McNabb is a solid QB and has only gotten better each year even if his stats haven't shown it. He is a intelligent QB and knows how to run an offense. If TO plays and plays like TO, I think McNabb is a far better option than Culpepper.

I hope you are right because I really am considering the trade. I guess I could always trade him for Bulger.
lynch
With Brees as your backup, the drop from Manning to McNabb shouldn't look as bad. But, the jump from Martin and Jones to LT and Dillon is incredible. See if you can add a WR and get one of his that would improve that squad. I would accept the trade as is, but see if you can bump it in your favor a little more. But taking the trade will give you a big upgrade. FantasyKing1
I would not do the trade. Manning can carry you on any giving week. He has weapons all over the field as with Mcnabb he only has TO. I would stay where you are and try to trade brees and Martin for an upgrade at RB
ROCKNE
If I did the trade I might be able to trade McNabb for Bulger. Would that be a good idea?
lynch
McNabb has improved every year. I don't know if I would trade him away. Owens is in camp and will play hard, he just doesn't take plays off like some star WR. I like Bulger, if you can get Bulger and possibly upgrade you bottom WR area that would be a fine trade for you. ebartender
Although I agree that McNabb has been inconsistent from a fantasy standpoint, why is everone so high on Buckhalter? You say the reason the Eagles threw so much was because Buckhalter was hurt. When hasn't he been hurt? I had this arguement a couple seasons ago about Buckhalter vs. Staley. Buckhalter hasn't done anything yet and he is already hurt again. Why because he is injured does the whole offensive philosophy change? Fact is that the Eagles are a pass first offense and have been for a while now. The fact that Westbrook is out now will hurt McNabb a hell of a lot more then if Buckhalter plays or not. If all players are there for week #1 and healthy, Westbrook is the #1 guy and Buckhalter/Moats will spell him occasionally or when he is split out. Would that be a good idea? 909960[/snapback] Assuming TO stays healthy McNabb will be on pace for a simalar year to last year. A Reid loves to pass, regardless of the backfield. McNabb for Bulger would not be an upgrade IMHO
MrGameTime
Yeah the trade would give you a very nice back field and I think you can stand the down grade @ QB! Manning is the real deal but if he gets within 10TD's of his last years numbers I'd be very surprised!
