FantasyKing1
I am in a 12 man league (serpitine draft). I have the 8th overall pick. I guy offerd me his 1.06 pick, 6th and 8th round for my 2.08, 4th ,& 5th round picks. Meaning I would have the 6,8,32,65,67,80,89,91, and he would have the 17,19,30,41,43,78,102. Now the part I need help on. Do you think i am giving up to much in the middle rounds just to move up and get two studs. Or do you think it will benifit me to have two studs then get depth in rounds 6 - 10. I know it may sound confusing but I would really appreciate any advice. It is a performance scoring league with emphasis on long TDs. all players get same amount of points for TDs Thanks
Ralph Furley
I like the idea. I would try and work something out where I wasn't giving him the back to back picks (4 and 5), but if he doesn't want to do that, then I'd go ahead and make the trade. I am leaning towards doing it i just hat not picking again until 65 after 32. That is where my concern is . Do you still think it is worth it to have two 1st rounders and then just sit and wait till round 6 and on to build the rest of mu team
lynch
I have changed my mind on this a couple of times. I wouldn't do it. You are giving away picks 17, 41, & 56. You didn't list that in his selections. While you get pick 6, 67, & pick 91. Just look at it like that. Is it worth falling back 20 spots and then 40 spots to move up 11? You lose your shot at the good second level WR, and really any quality depth if you make this trade. I use this value calculator when I am thinking about a trade. http://www.footballguys.com/pickvalue.htm It shows that this is a down grade for you. I would stand pat and just out draft the guy, he is trying to stock up on quality talent while giving you one stud and then backup talen that you would have to start. Is it really worth i to me just to move up 11 spots. I am trying to tell my self i can still get a good pick and 17 and good quality at 41 & 56. Just very hard for me to pass on having the 6th and 8yh. I helps though to here other peoples veiews. Thanks
