justin
It was a good run, sorry to see him go.
Trots
It was time. Apparently, some in the clubhouse did not get along with him. This is the first time, I believe, that Angelos has fired a manager in mid-season. The O's need something to light a fire under them. Hopefully this will. Big Red
What a total collapse. It was time. Wonder who will get it next. Dempsey? Now go get some pitching.
whomper
I wouldve liked to see 1 more year out of him. They lost Javy for a long stretch ,Sosa has been a bust and they never addressed pitching. Ponson is a waste of space , and the other guys are young. I guess the move makes sense but I really wanted to see Mazzili make it and succeed. gilthorp
Sosa is a cancer, regardless of how they've said he "fits" in. They'd be best getting a Latino manager at this stage in the game.

A total collapse this Orioles team. With their issues and now the negativity of Palmeiro's suspension, I don't see how they can contend this year. And who'da thunk that Sosa would fall so far so quickly? Must be 'roid rage.
Big Red
And who'da thunk that Sosa would fall so far so quickly? Must be 'roid rage. 911050[/snapback] The corked bat and eye on roids may have made him switch two things he had been doing for a while. Put Dempsey in charge and get some pitching and the seats will fill back up, not to mention we'll win a few games.
