budly23
I posted this elsewhere, but it was suggested I try here as well. Standard league scoring for the offensive guys and for the IDP it will be: Tackle Solo (1) Tackle Assist (.5) Sack (2) Interception (2) Fumble Force (.5) Fumble Recovery (1) Touchdown (6) Safety (2) Pass Defended (.5) Block Kick (2) We've added IDP for this year, so it's new to everyone in our league. What round would you draft your IDP in an 8 team league? I'm thinking 4th or 5th at the moment. Would it be any different in a 12 team league? I'm in one of those too. thanks!! budly23
Your answer was great, I just thought I might get a few more over here.
darin3
If I had already drafted two RBs and two WRs... I would then look at QBs and TEs ... if no first-tier QB/TE is there, I'd consider a first-tier LB.
hooknladder
It completely depends who you want...and when your willing to take them. 1pt. per tackle adds up quick over the season...however offense usually scores the majority of pt.s. -who do you want more?- A. Gates or R.Lewis? around the 3rd. round. It all depends who you think will score the most.
redman
The few elite players at their positions - e.g. Ray Lewis, Kevin Williams (if you play DT), etc. - warrant looks beginning around the 3rd or 4th round. Otherwise, your VBD numbers are going to start showing you should draft defense around the time you're going to draft your mid-level QB1/WR1, or your good WR2. hooknladder
Theres a HUGE difference between the 1st and the 25th ranked LB...don't be fooled. The difference between the 1st LB and the 20th-something WR is nowhere near 100 pts., leaning OFF.-...and if it is with your scoring why even bother with IDP? Sarge, don't you get points for tackles?
