Broken
Evaluate my fiancee's FF team from her league @ work. It's a $ league so I'm hoping she can win it. It's ashame that most of the other people don't want to trade. Judging by a lot of their teams, they don't play FF at all. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF. Standard scoring - All TDs, including passing, are worth 6 pts each. Jake Plummer Byron Leftwich Dom davis Edge Mike Bennett JJ Arrington Chris Brown Mike Clayton Steve Smith E. Moulds E. Kennison Gonzo Jeff Wilkins Arizona DEF
SpinalTapp
How many teams in the league? I will assume 12 teams and give you my opinion... QB - C (Plummer and Lefty are average at best FF QBs) RB - A (great depth and quality) WR - B+ (solid WRs...both great #2s, possibly #1s) TE - A+ (stud) K

C for the QBs? Plummer isn't that bad IMO.

Lefty is going to explode this year, mark my words!

Ralph Furley
I'm not a big fan of the WRs. I think Plummer and Leftwich are too inconsistent on a weekly basis. RBs are great.
Gopher
I'm not a big fan of the WRs. I think Plummer and Leftwich are too inconsistent on a weekly basis. RBs are great. 913356[/snapback] I agree. If the people in this league are as stupid as it appears (Edge and DD going to the same team), wait to see if Bennett can squeak out a couple of good games before getting injured. Then, quickly before he goes down, trade him and either a WR or QB for an upgrade at that position. WR's are decent, but no solid stud, IMO. Clayton was a rookie who performed well, but will there be a sophomore slump? Probably not, but after that, you have Smith, who is very fragile IMO, and two guys on the downside of their careers. QB's are OK. Plummer may have a 4 or 5-TD game now and then, but I don't think he's very consistent. Leftwich will probably be more consistent, but I don't see him having too many 3-4 TD games either. Bottom line................ As long as the two RB's stay healthy, you will probably be very competitive just based on having two of the top 5-7 players at the most important position. However, I think you have the RB depth and ammunition to make a move or two and have a more balanced dominant roster.

slimshady31
Agree with most of these other posts here that RB is a no brainer, she did oftly well in snagging Edge and DD, with Bennett and Brown and Arrington as backups. As a Bennett owner last year, I'm with Gopher in that once he strings together a couple of bust out games, trade his a** for good value because he's more fragile than fine china. As for the QB's, they are run of the mill to me so don't look for huge production there. And on the WR front, not that sold on this receiving corps. Smith is coming off a season long injury from last year, Moulds is past his prime and with Losman throwing to him that is a huge question mark (plus Evans may become a favorite target, who knows?), and Kennison is decent but nothing to write home about. Clayton is decent too but again not sold on TBB offense. So basically, I think the WR as a whole is average, so once Bennett goes off for a few weeks in a row, package him up and trade him for a better WR. Gonzo is a stud so nothing to add or grade on there.
gimpster
Try to package some RB's with a QB to upgrade your QB once the season starts. RB core is solid. Edge & DD in a 12 man league is nice.
