darin3
Currently drafting in a multi-league uber-league (5 leagues of 12 teams each). I picked from the 4-slot, and have the following lineup so far: QB - Bulger RB - Davis, Dillon (traded Holmes & 5th rounder for these two) WR - Muhammed (got him in the above-mentioned trade) TE - Gonzalez The same guy I traded with before is offering me his 6th rounder (6.01) and 10th rounder (10.01) for my 5th rounder (5.04) and 12th rounder (12.09), so he has a better chance at landing L. Johnson to handcuff Holmes. I am considering this, but don't know how much of an upgrade from the 12th round his 10th rounder will be. I do need a top-rate WR, and the best available are the likes of Boldin, Coles or Lelie. I'm thinkin' if Boldin is there, I have to decline the trade and take him at 5.04, as he wouldn't last to 6.01. If he IS gone, I think I can still land the likes of Driver, Bruce or Bennett at 6.01. Any thoughts? Help a Huddler out... this league is the "Inter-Board Challenge", up against the "regs" at Footballguys.com, etc. If I look good, YOU look good! gogo2146
I would not make trade. You have to ask yourself is it making my team better or his? At this point your helping him out to get Johnson. Stick to your guns and make him pay for that 5th rounder. Good luck.
General Itals
He can do better if he wants LJ that bad.
mcnabbmcnow
Don't make the trade. 5th and 6th round picks are much more valuable than 10th or 12th round picks......a 5th is much better than a 6th.
ts
Not a good deal for you overall, IMO ... use that 5th round pick well & worry about 10th/12th round choices after you have your core squad set.
Wizards
He's offering nothing for moving up that high in the 5th round... Besides IMO at 5.04 DJackson, Hines "noShow" Ward could be available....do not think Boldin does better than Coles or Lelie...either way keep the 5.04 pick as it is a crucial pick determining a Tier 2 or Tier 3 WR...6.01 could be Tier 3.....JMHO
Bier Meister
i wouldn't do the deal, plus i like driver and bruce more than boldin, coles, and lelie
darin3
Ended up doing the deal... a bunch of WRs went right ahead of me, and whoever I would have taken at 5.4 will probably be there at 6.01... so moving down 7 picks wasn't a hugh deal... moving up from the end of the 12th to the start of the 10th was worth it. My team's solid... WR will be thin, but WRs are always so hit-and-miss, unless you have a true stud like TO, Moss, etc. Bulger, Davis, Dillon, Gonzo... good start.
