devilwoman
Taylor Looks like he has been impressive at camp according to this and other articles and blurbs I've read. Could be interesting.
notamomo
Never dun nuthin as a pro, but I hope he turns it around. Always had the talent.....we'll see. Was surprised to hear Tice say he's not very fast, ""He's never going to run by many people, but he's strong and can't be pressed," Tice said. "He's strong, he's thick, he's powerful and he's mature. Travis and Marcus, to me, right now are in a hell of a battle." link But it sounds like he's making a splash. Could be a real sleeper. Avernus
I think I'll take a flyer on him along with A Bryant...I usually have a crop of sleeper WR's and I usually hit better than 50% somehow... my misses last year were Stallworth and Burress...but I hit on Colbert and M Clayton and a few others that I can't remember for the life of me... MikesVikes
According to Tice, he's no Williamson. I think that Taylor will play in the slot. They want him to be what Stokley is for the Colts.

He didn't say that Williamson would be the 5th WR because the kid sucks. He said, as of right now he's 5th on the depth chart. His arse wasn't in camp when everyone else was so that's where he's at. I see him moving up the chart real soon. I'd say it's going to be Burleson, Williamson, and Taylor as the top three receivers but who knows about the order of 2 and 3. Reid is nothing like that, he just doesn't say squat except an ::ahem-ahem:: and then an analysis of what the weather and time of the game was and who got hurt... Kwatz
Travis Taylor will be good for 5-7 TDs and 60 receptions this year. He will be a solid #3 to begin with and possibly move ahead of Robinson.

Big Red
This is Billick when Taylor performs this year------------>>> 915336 Uh, nkay. When asked about Taylor, Billick always said how good of a blocker he was. Never about speed, ability, hands or mental toughness. He seemed like a good kid, he just never got it going in Baltimore. I doubt he gets it going anywhere. Too many false starts and dropped balls. Those have nothing to do with who your QB is.

Wait until you get the constant dropped balls and false starts. 915257 Every WR that has ever played for Baltimore Sucked Ass. There was a reason TO didn't want to play for them. He would have been lucky to get 800 yards and 8 tds. Dang, I feel sorry for one of my favorite players as a Tennessee Titan, Derrick Mason. No WR or QB in the league has left Baltimore and done anything anywhere else unless you count Vinny Testaverde or Brandon Stokley. This has always been a team built around a top D and a great running game. Resources have rarely been thrown at the passing game. Boller in the 1st and Mason as a free agent are the recent exception. Still, Travis Taylor sucks. He was the one player you would ALWAYS hear people get on at training camp and at the game. Besides, the guy had his baby on TLC's 'A Baby Story'. How tough can he be? MikesVikes
This guy seems to have done ok after playing for Baltimore. Totally unrelated from how receivers do post-Baltimore, though. But can someone tell my why Billick is a genius again? Randy Moss made Billick a genius and he hasn't been one since.
