PantherDave
We all are looking forward to our home teams opening day game, but what other game strikes your fancy. The Thursday night game will be of interest to me with Moss in silver and black, plus the feeling of doom circling the Pats LB corp and other so called "chinks" in the armor. Then the MN game with the battle of the birds of prey in Atlanta-with the jury still out on Vick and the Eagles beset ( as of now) with holdouts and injuries, not to mention unhappy campers. The SN game between the Colts and the Poe Birds should be entertaining as well. I'll just be glad and extrememly happy when it does get here-the greatest slice of Americana will soon return!! Peace PD.
theeohiostate
I am most looking forward to seeing the Raiders, with not only Moss but Jordan as well. I see the Pats starting 0-1 The other game of interest to me is Manning vs Lewis, i don't know if the Ravens will slow him down, but maybe enough for their newly improved offense to match them on points for a late 4th quarter barn-burner. JoJoTheWebToedBoy
Looking forward to The Cowboys/Chargers Game. Why? Because: 1. I get to spend a four (maybe 5) day weekend on the beach 2. It's frickin Opening day and I have tickets 3. It's the first live Cowboy game I've been too in several years 4. Oh, and did I mention the beach..... Rovers
The Jets open at KC. Very tough road game. My hope is that KC is still finding thier way in that D, with all the new talent, and an aging O line, maybe, just maybe, we can steal a win there. Getting that win would be HUGH for the Jets, but it's going to be a war! Game of the week, with all due respect to the Pats and Raiders! jjpro11
STEELERS vs titans.. the steelers are gonna get off to a quick start, handing a slapping to the depleted titans. btw.. why didnt they put the steelers-pats game on monday night or sunday night? i almost thought that was a given after the regular and postseason games and history between the two lately.. if you dont think that will get a large viewing audience then you are insane. they put it at 415.. but still not the same as night. they do vick vs mcnabb (nfc rematch), but what about big ben vs brady (afc rematch)? ben and brady have become two of the most popular players in the league. Primetime9287
If the Steelers dont win this game, and win it handily, it will be a bad omen for their season... 915433 That is true. If the game was going to be played in Tennessee, it might be a close game, but in Pitt we dont stand a chance!
Big Score 1
915435 It was my homerism for the FalCANS Big John, not yours. We all know you bleed Packer Green & Gold.
devilwoman
Hawks at Jacksonville. Ah those road games can be a lady dog. But lets hope Alexander puts it in high gear and our Defense shows us what they got. Interested to see how well the receiving core does...especially Jurevicius and Pathon. Go Hawks!! Lets get some fire under your A$$ and someone on their gluts. spelling sucks!!! Edited August 8, 2005 by devilwoman
Bengal Mania
The Thursday night game will be of interest to me915170 I agree the game is interesting, but I wonder if I'm alone in thinking a Thursday night game on week 1 SUCKS. Why not another game on Friday night, Saturday Morning, and Saturday late afternoon? Everybody should be 0-0 until 1:00 PM on Sunday, IMO. The fun of opening day is that it is opening day for everyone. I don't even care for the Monday game for that week, but I realise that has been a tradition for so long. Heck, no one even bothered to call and ask my opinion.
Hat Trick
KC vs. NYJ I look for Pennington to start out rusty and throw at least 2 picks, one to Surtain and one to Knight. KC controls the clock by running most of the day. The defense will be better than anyone is giving them credit for. Shoot the Offense is having a terrible time moving the ball ont eh defense in camp and it's always been completely the opposite. KC 35 NYJ
