BigTen
A radio talk show host, Fred Human, in Lansing is a friend of Braylans father (accoring to him) and he said that Braylans father just called him and said that there is a deal done for 5 years but the final details are still being drawn up. Take it for what it is worth. I do not care for the host but he is usually on with his info and he does know a lot of people. Apparantly father Edwards gives all interviews to Fred because Fred did a story on Braylan before he was a big wig at UM. Because of that, father Edwrads feels compelled to give Fred the story first because of his loyality to his son with the early stories. PSULions
Welcome news given that I just drafted him minutes ago in my current draft at 11.11. Let's see if he lives up to the hype.

loaf
from fanball: First-round pick Braylon Edwards left Browns' headquarters on Wednesday without signing his contract because talks broke down when Cleveland wanted him to sign away some of his rights to marketing money, ESPN.com's John Clayton is reporting. Rumors had swirled all day that Edwards was very close to signing his contract, but the rookie and his agent are now heading out of town. "You don't have a deal until you have a deal," agent Lamont Smith said. "We're leaving Cleveland." OUR VIEW Edwards has already missed over two weeks of camp and is in danger of falling so far behind his fellow receivers that he would not start in week one. Smith told reporters that he is unsure of when he and the Browns would resume negotiations, but unless this deal is worked out soon, Edwards' fantasy value will start to drop.
