holcombe74
I need some help here. I am in a keeper league where you get to keep 2 players. The scoring is basic with 6 pts td rush/receiving, .1 a yd, and no points for receptions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have Jamal Lewis, Deuce McAllister, and Domanick Davis ------------------------------------------------------------------------- My thoughts: The reason I am posting is not for you to agree with me, but just to get an opinion from the outside. I am thinking about keeping Deuce and Jamal and dropping Davis..... Deuce - To me, this guy could be the best back in football and is active in the rush and pass game. He is a big guy and a threat to go the distance every time he touches the ball. Jamal - This guy is solid as a rock. I do not expect him to go the distance every time, but I fully expect 100 yd and 1 td on avg each week. Davis - This guys has the potential to put up better numbers than both of the backs above, but also has a lot more downside. I am not convinced that he is durable (I realize that he has not missed significant time and also that Deuce and Jamal have had injuries). I am also nervous about some of the backs in Houston taking some of his carries....Jamal/Deuce do not have this problem at all. --------------- Overrall, I am trying to minimize risk as I think all 3 of these guys are great. --------------- On a side note, I have the #6 pick of the draft and I will have a shot at Harrison, C. Johnson, Curtis Martin, and Stevan Jackson........any opinions on who I should take here assuming I already have the 2 backs I keep above? Ralph Furley
I don't see how you can go wrong with any of those picks. I understand what you're saying about minimizing risk. Lewis and McAlister are your answer if thats what your looking for.

nhoops
Agreed, not a bad situation to be in. They are all ranked very similar in all the mocks/lists that I've seen. If you got pnts for recp. then it would be easy (Deuce, and Davis). I'd go with Deuce and Jamal as well. Lewis is a threat to run for 200 yds at any given moment....but can have some average games. Good Luck!
