tonyr0802
First, the important stuff: Lineup: 1qb/2-3rb/2-3wr/1-2te/k/d 12 man league 6pt TD's (pa/ru/re), 1/10 ru/re yds 1/25 pa yds 1pt per rec I drafted from the first spot and wanted to follow the strategy I used through the 7th round. After that I intended to go for depth and value. I think later in the draft I wasn't as prepared as I could have been so ended up rushing some picks. Criticism's please... 1.01 Tomlinson, Ladainian SDC RB 2.12 Harrison, Marvin IND WR 3.01 Walker, Javon GBP WR - TO slipped to 3.02 (I passed him for Walker, not sure that was smart or not) 4.12 Green, Trent KCC QB 5.01 Taylor, Fred JAC RB 6.12 Ravens, Baltimore BAL Def 7.01 Witten, Jason DAL TE 8.12 Kennison, Eddie KCC WR 9.01 Toefield, Labrandon JAC RB 10.12 Galloway, Joey TBB WR 11.01 Pittman, Michael TBB RB 12.12 Longwell, Ryan GBP PK 13.01 Williams, Reggie JAC WR 14.12 Vikings, Minnesota MIN Def 15.01 Brown, Reggie PHI WR 16.12 Garcia, Jeff DET QB
Roo
I think either your 2nd, 3rd and/or 4th picks should have been for an RB. In a league where you can start 3 RBs, you should try to start 3 RBs. (in my opinion) I maybe would have waited on a QB or #2 WR, and grabbed another RB. LT might carry you though, and I like Witten and the BAL D. Edited August 15, 2005 by Roo
sac_intimidators
i feel you could have gotten a better team if you would have went with a RB in 2rnd ,3and 4th go for WR and 5th pick up QB you could of got a DEF at 7 or 8 and i mean a descent one . then pick up sleeper wide out picks. gd74
You definitely reached on Trent Green and that sort of threw off your whole draft... your team is still good but it could of been better. By taking a back with the second or third pick, then you could of utilized the fourth for your second WR then had the same exact draft but would of opted for younger guys at the bottom end of the draft with more potential for an upside. I always try and look for WRs in their third season who could basically have an outbreak season but are still uproven instead of veterans who you know what you will get from them with no upside and rookies. I do like the pick of the Vikings D though...
Donutrun Jellies
Any rook RBs on the waiver wire? Any backs on the wire? All you're missing is a RB2 and you'd be golden ... You need a steal the size of Rudi and DDavis a couple of years ago when they emerged a couple weeks in ... Keep your eyes open for an early waiver grab that might put you where you need to be.
