I do not think Kramer should be on that list. He was not that bad of a QB. On another note, after Walter Payton you could probably have a good "bad" RB list as well. :D

Agreed that I probably could've taken Kramer off of the list and replaced him with Jim Miller. Kramer only had about two "good" seasons, though.

The Bears have had some pretty decent RBs after Payton, though (Neil Anderson, A-Train, Thomas Jones). Anderson was actually pretty good. But, yeah, some have been serious busts as well (Salaam, Enis, Bennett, etc.).

Wow! Impressive list. I didn't see Kordell's name on the list right away. I immediately looked for it.

Btw, not fair to include backups on the list. I'd vote based on the Bears relying on a starter for the year and they should be expected to be better than the 3rd backup.

It's been 20 years since a serviceable QB played in Chicago.

Likes like a 20 way tie for 1st.

I think Jim McMahon, even if he is like 50 something, is still their best option today ... Things haven't been the same since he left! :D

Peter Tom Willis? :D:D:D:D:D

Still, had to go with McNown. How they thought a happy footed southpaw who floated his passes would ever succeed in Soldier Field is still beyond me.

They passed on Culpepper (but picked up a few good 3rd rounders) that draft.

McNown was a first round bust.  That's a bigger strike than anybody else on the list.  Oh if only the Lions had kept Kramer!  :D

Mirer was a first round bust twice. First in Seattle, then Chicago traded a first round pick (#11 I think) for him.

When i first read the poll, I was tinkin' worst NON-DRAFT pick. And I was split 'tween Kordell & Mirer! YES, McNown.....was their worst QB draft pick of all time, but if the Bears didn't pick him, guarantee the teams behind would have.

Mirer & Kordell were the worst NON-DRAFT pick any team could have made!
