Roo
Not such an easy call. Indy is tempting, but I wonder if that's because of how we associate the Manning air attack. Moss/Porter/Curry is pretty hot, but so are those three bucks in Detroit. Hmmm....
Down Goes Frazia
it's all about the QB getting them the ball...... with that said, manning set's his corp apart, IMO.
Caveman_Nick
Not because of any individual, but because of the mix of talent and differing skill sets. EDIT: This is not a statement regarding Fantasy WRs, but NFL effectiveness as a group. Edited August 24, 2005 by Caveman_Nick
Roo
The Pats didn't even come to mind but you have a point. Remember try to keep the QB out of it. Imagine you were the QB of a football team - what WR corps do you want?
peepinmofo
I voted Indy since theyre the best PROVEN squad, but I think that Detroit has the potential to be the best. With experience, they will be dominant. However, they will likely need a new QB as well. Oakland has a nice squad too, but how will Moss and Porter play together? How will Moss play in a different system then he was in? I like Cincinatti and Carolina as well.
Piranha
Makes you think about it. I think the proven best WR corp is Indy with Harrison, Wayne, and Stokely. And having Manning throwing doesn't hurt either.
Azazello1313
without taking qb into consideration, oakland. best from a fantasy perspective would obviously have to be indy. the detroit boys haven't proven chit, and arizona is every bit as good as far as talent and potential. Fenokee
Hard to argue with Indy, but I voted other and went with Arizona due to youth.
Roo
I said Oakland too. Even though they aren't proven as a team, you've got serious veteran talent and raw skill (and depth). I don't know what Indy would be like with Collins at the helm. I was actually having more difficulty between Detroit and Oakland. Those guys are all athletic wonders. NavinRJohnson
This season, I'd say Indy. Using the old, "if I were starting a team today" argument, I'd take Detroit's.

The discussion of the skill players is more to support why I think Brady is an underated Fantasy commodity this season, not the other way around. sundaynfl
Talent wise I have to say Oakland.. besides the QB I think you should consider the hogs up front. Manning was sacked 13 times will the duo of Gannon and Collins were sacked 30 times. Manning had all day in the pocket!
wiegie
I'm surprised there is no mention of Holt/Bruce/Curtis/McDonald yet for the Rams. I definitely don't understand why somebody would think that Detroit's or Arizona's WRs are better than they are.
notamomo
I voted Oakland too. They go four deep. If Moss is the most talented in the league (most will agree), Porter stacks up very nicely next to R.Wayne, L. Fitzerald, Givens, etc..., I'd rather have a healthy Curry (healthy) than Stokely (healthy),or any other 3rd WR, and I think Gabriel has lot of talent and playmaking ability. Oakland goes 4 deep. That's why they are best, IMO.

Just making sure everyone didn't jump on Indy because of their fantasy production, and Manning. It's true, St. Louis could be considered, and so could Arizona. I just felt like Detroit was a notch above, but that's why I left it open. Roy Williams is insanely good - we just didn't get a full taste of him last year. The Holy Roller
Have to agree with weigie on this one. StL has a potent bunch with experince, youth, speed, and potential. But I'd have to go with Indy.
Clubfoothead
I voted Oakland. They'll prove it this year, too.
Todd1
Walker, Driver and Ferguson. Fergie should be a starter in GB and would be for most teams in the league.
Big John
Fergie should be a starter in GB and would be for most teams in the league. 945954 I'm sorry, but I disagree. He is more injury prone and had simply had not lived up to pontential.

PaulOttCarruth
946096 Three Pro-Bowlers -- Boston, Booker, and McMichael Chambers would've been a Pro-Bowler with any QB who had just a little bit of talent.
