Randall
Do it quick. On Sirius they said the Tribune said Benson is starting.
DMD
The Chicago Tribune today said: That will not happen again. With only a few days of practice, Benson will play Sunday at Washington in the opener against the Redskins. After an outstanding preseason, Thomas Jones remains the starter. But the Bears signed Benson to a five-year contract worth $30 million to do more than give Jones an occasional down or series off, and competition for the starting running back's job begins in earnest this week. but that all said, I would make that trade and I see Benson as the one to clearly own sooner than later. Anytime you can fill a need by trading something you have depth in, you should do it. To get my opinion, I too think Benson will be starting sooner then later. How he will do is another story, but I say make the trade.
