According to Priority News on the site:

The rookie Braylon Edwards has been upgraded from doubtful to questionable to play against the Detroit Lions on Sunday. He has missed two games after surgery on an infection in his arm which still has not been identified. "The (doctors) are pleased with the way the wound looks," HC Romeo Crennel said. "Their major concern is the wound itself and will he be able to make it through the game without breaking that thing open again. Some of the concern is what kind of padding and what kind of procedure they need to do to try to keep those stitches together if he plays in the game. If the doctors say he can play, we'll probably play him some."

Huddle Up: Not likely Edwards will be a big contributor this week even if he plays, but he is getting back earlier than initial reports had expected.

Trust me..I wold love to play him this week also. I am stuck with Jabar Gafney after all waiver wire WRs were grabbed before my slot.

The guy has stiches in his arm and they could break at any moment. I would bet he suits up but does not play unless there is a serious, serious emergency.
