Steelhead
I've got Atlanta D on bye this week. I tried to get Detroit D but someone ahead of me in waivers picked them up. I'm liking WAS or DEN... 1. DEN vs PHI 2. WAS @NYG 3. NYG vs WAS 4. ARI @DAL 5. SD vs KC Edited October 28, 2005 by Steelhead
BearcatTom
I"m assuming the first team listed is the def you can pick up. Don't like any of those, but Wash. is playing the best Def. right now.
nuke'em ttg
denver, wash, chargers.........the donkeys at home could really go off on mcgimp..
giantsfan
I think I may go Den also. I always like D's at home better. Going in on paper though I don't love any of these I must admit.
Steelhead
yeah I don't like them either. I'm really ticked Lions got snagged ahead of me in waivers. The team that took them is 1-6 and is going nowhere.
Gdawg
WAS D is playing well but hardly ever gets any sacks, picks, funmbles, etc...except against the hapless 49ers. Tough call, I think I'd go DEN, then WAS.
Steelhead
alot for Was and Den, anyone else?

Donutrun Jellies
Egad. Not good choices. Has cleveland already been scooped up as well? They're playing Hou ... If this is what you have, I think Washington is the safe play -- not exciting point generators, but solid. If you a heck of a gambler, go with Arizona -- and hope Bledsoe spends more time on his back than Madonna with Flozelle out and JJones not totin' the rock ... That's quite a risk though since Ari can't run the ball to rest the Def ...
Steelhead
Cleveland's gone. It's looking like Washington, I just hope they can generate some pts. I read that Denvers' secondary is dinged up so TO will probably go off.
slickvick
I would go with washington. The Lions seems like a great play this week but are without Dre Bly and probably Rogers on the D line. They are not that good at stopping the run.Jones should have a big day and Orton will IMO throw a TD pass in this game.I don't see the Lions getting the large amount of TO's in this game that they have been getting so play the Skins with confidence. Not Completely Lost
Denver SD This is assuming you get points for sacks, INT, turnovers (fum). If is is just the score - then WAS
Steelhead
Here's our Def scoring format: Defensive TD = 6 points Blocked FG = 3 points Blocked Punts = 2 points Blocked XP = 2 points Fumble recovery = 2 points INT = 2 points Sack = 1 point Safety = 4 points Points Against, Total Points Scored 0 - 1 PA = 10 points 2 - 6 PA = 7 points 7 - 13 PA = 4 points 14 - 20 PA = 1 point 21 - 27 PA = 0 points 28 - 34 PA = -1 point 35+ PAs = -4 points
Steelhead
with my defensive scoring do you still go with Washington?
mojo chiefs
is kc out there? i know they give up points, but hall can return one to the house any week, and arizona if they can stop the run, bledsoe might get on the turf , they have two very good de , that can get to bledsoe. sacks, int. IrishPride
1. Den 2. Was 3. SD 4. NYG 5. ARI I like Den @ Hm......But consider the source.....My Opinion !
pags322
I wouldn't rule out SD either since yesterday it was reported that Trent Green's father passed away. He is still expected to play but I don't think he will be able to pull off a Brett Farve.
