PantherDave
1.Colts-7-0 undefeated-simple 2. Panthers-5-2 longest winng streak other than Colts 4 ina row 3. Broncos 6-2 sitting comfy going into the bye week and should lock up Div early 4. Falcons 5-2 Same formula-same results 5. Seahawks 5-2 The Hawks have only had 2 cake games so far and deserve it. I don't think the NFC is as weak as percieved-one man's opinion.

PantherDave
Well I have this to round out my top 10ish 6. Steelers 7. Cowboys 8. Giants 9. Bengals 10. Patroits/Eagles ..and yes Dear Bill, I do think the Hawks deserve the 5th spot over the Steelers, but you could invert there and it would not be bad either. Peace PD. Doc Holliday
Didn't the Broncos lose to the DOLPHINS????? 1118073 Yep, not that that means much. Weird games happen in the NFL. plus I don't think the Dolphins are that bad(nor that good).
CaptainHook
Yep, not that that means much.1118098 It means they shouldn't be number 1 on anybody's list.
Doc Holliday
It means they shouldn't be number 1 on anybody's list. 1118155 People could say the same thing about a team that has played a very easy schedule.
skinpig
Ind #1 You've got to be kidding. If they beat 7 high school teams, would you still call them #1? Many 'pundits' had TB ranked as high as #2 last week. Why? BECAUSE THEY HADN'T PLAYED ANYBODY. We just saw how good they really are. Let us examine the facts. Ind has played four of the WORST scoring defenses in the entire NFL. They beat Ten (27th), Hou (30th), StL (31st), and SF (32nd). Ind has played four of the WORST scoring offenses in the entire NFL. They beat SF (26th), Cle (29th), Hou (30th), and Bal (32nd). Ind has only played ONE team with a current winning record--Jax, and they struggled to win that game at home, 10-3. Ind opponents for the year are 17-33 (.340). They are completely UNTESTED! Den, on the other hand, is 5-1 against teams with current winning records. FIVE AND ONE. The only loss came against a fired-up NYG team on the road, by one point. No other team is even close to that mark. Den opponents for the year are 32-25 (.561). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is the way I see it: 1--Den (no question) 2--Ind (very questionable) 3--NE (tough schedule, key injuries) 4--Pit (well balanced) 5--SD (tough schedule, many injuries)
Sgt. Ryan
Dallas already beat the Gnats and would pound Carolina. These lists are foolish, as when the playoffs begin, the boys are going to roll to the Superbowl, baby.... And Dallas will bend Denver over Thanksgiving day, and end speculation about that fraud of a team. Edited November 2, 2005 by Sgt. CaptainHook
These lists are foolish,1118208 Yep. 7-0 speaks for itself.
Bill Swerski
Ind #1 You've got to be kidding. Here is the way I see it: 1--Den (no question) 2--Ind (very questionable) 1118198 So, it's a complete joke to rank a 7-0 team #1, but it's completely reasonable to rank them #2? Avernus
Zing! Pow! And yet we agree on 4/5 top 5 teams... 1117578 not the placing?...I'm just messing with you, though... but Denver #1 is ridiculous...and I forget what else you picked...but It wasn't all that reasonable either... not a big deal, though
