fitzkek 7 Posted November 23, 2005 Yo, Hugh My league is performanced based. 1 pt. per reception and 10 yards rushing/receiving. 6 pts per TD. It is also a decimal scoring league. I start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, a K, and a D. I would like some help picking 2 of these 4 RB's and 3 of 5 WR's. My lineup: opponents in ( ). QB: Palmer RB: Barber sea), Portis (SD), M.Moore (cle), K.Jones (atl) WR: Coles (NO), Bennett (SF), Houshmandzadeh (bal), Engram (NYG), and Bryant (wash) TE: J. Stevens K: Tynes D: TB I need some help! Thanks
1badfish 0 Posted November 23, 2005 (edited) Happy Thanksgiving Hugh. Nice to see you back on the advice. I posted this earlier on the boards, but i thought I'd go right to you instead. I am starting LT for sure but I'm struggling with my other RB choise. JJones,KJones or Cadi. Also I have fallen to 5th place as of last week. I need a good week from my WRs. I have Horn vs Jets, MJones vs Cards, Porter vs Dolphins, JoeJ vs Giants, TGlenn vs Broncos, and Chambers vs Raiders to choose from. Thanks Edited November 24, 2005 by 1badfish
Tega 0 Posted November 23, 2005 Thanks for taking my question Hugh One! Please choose 1 RB from the following (performance league with receptions): Dominick Davis home against St Louis - I'm now leaning towards playing him (I'm concerned about his injury. I'm playing Larry Johnson and if I decide to play DD and his injury worsens between Thanksgiving and Sunday, I'm without another RB since Dunn, KJ, and Anderson play on Thanksgiving) Warrick Dunn @ Detroit (Detroit has a decent rush defense at home & Duckett is in the backfield with Dunn once again) Mike Anderson @ Dallas (Dallas rush defense is solid) What RB would you play? Thanks a lot and have a nice Thanksgiving!
Bababooey 0 Posted November 23, 2005 Hugh, Happy Turkey Day! Sit Galloway against the Bears and play Engram instead against the GMen? I'm not exactly panicked after one bad week but I'm not crazy about the matchup. Thanks.
SLGRAF 0 Posted November 23, 2005 Hugh, My #2 RB slot is a problem. Should I start Caddy vs Chicago, or one of Marion Barber or Julius Jones vs Denver? Thanks!
SC Goes Deep 0 Posted November 23, 2005 Hello Hugh..... Which of these WR's is the best to play as my #2 with Chad Johnson? Chambers at Oakland Curtis at Houston Matt Jones at Arizona Stallworth and Toomer are also available on the WW....(Burelson may be expendable) This is a TD scoring league... Thanks and have a Happy Thankgiving!
Hugh 0ne 30 Posted November 24, 2005 I'll get to all of these before Sunday. If your questions were about today's matchups, some general advice: Don't start Terry Glenn unless you have no other options. Don't start any Lions. Ever. KJ might get you 60 yards, so if that's a good option for you, go with it. Dunn won't do much. Vick is a decent start. Never play Plummer. Ever. Have yourselves a Happy Thanksgiving fellow Huddlers. Down The Middle 0 Posted November 24, 2005 Hugh - thanks Murphy visited my team (Bulger and McNabb) so I have picked up Jamie. I am getting a little worried about the injury talk and possilby seeing his backup. Is this just talk or should I look elsewhere for a starting QB? 12 team league so there are not a lot of options. Here is a list of the week 11 performers: Brooks, Aaron Dorsey, Ken QB SF McMahon, Mike QB PHI Losman, J.P. QB BUF Boller, Kyle QB BAL Maddox, Tommy QB PIT (R'Burger now) Harrington, Joey QB DET Dilfer, Trent QB CLE Orton, Kyle QB CHI Johnson, Brad QB MIN Carr, David QB HOU
Randall 35 Posted November 24, 2005 Hugh, Should I start Galloway against the Bears Boldin at home against Jax Horn at the Jets or Issac Bruce at Houston. Pick 2. Thanks.
Qball86 6 Posted November 24, 2005 Brunell v SD; Bledsoe v DEN or Jamie Martin v HOU? Brunell and Bledsoe have fallen quiet and Martin plays HOU with Bruce/Holt back. Could be a nice sleeper. Also stuck on Galloway v CHI or Chambers @ OAK. CHI DST is far better than ATL and they just shut Simms/Galloway down huge. OAK DST is bad and CHambers gets most of the looks. Thanks in advance and happy holidays.

BearcatGreg 3 Posted November 25, 2005 Really could use some PROFESSIONAL advice. Need to start 2 and 1 must be a RB. 6 pt/TD, 1 pt/10 yds. M. Moore vs Cle How are the ankles? Caddy vs Chi Tough Defense Gado @ Phi Fumbles to much, headed to the bench? R. Moss vs Mia Not 100% D. Bennett vs SF Just back from injury Wilford @ Ari May be the safest choice I'm thinking Moore and Wilford.
Guest Posted November 25, 2005 Would you start Lefty @ Ari. or McNair vs. Niners? Also if you could pick 2 out of this mess. Already played Dunn and JJ (Dal). 1 must be a WR to go with Harrison and Kennison the other is a flex. JJ (Sea) vs NYG Evans vs. Car. JJ (Ari) vs. Jax. Ricky @ Oak. Peterson @ Tampa Wells vs. Rams Thanks

SuperBalla 1 Posted November 27, 2005 (edited) Antonio Bryant at Minn or D. Mason at Cincin? Braylon appears to be cutting in to Bryants' production but Minni can't guard a cement block on a fly route. Mason has QB woes and against the Bengals I just don't see him having a hugh game...any suggestions? Edited November 27, 2005 by SuperBalla
