Cardinals | Rackers has partially torn calf

Fri, 2 Dec 2005 11:14:14 -0800

Darren Urban, of the East Valley Tribune, reports Arizona Cardinals PK Neil Rackers (calf) has a partially torn calf muscle and will likely miss about three weeks. The team, however, is not putting him on Injured Reserve with hopes that he will be able to return before the end of the year.

I have him in two leagues so this definitely sucks. However I feel worse for him as he probably would have set a new NFL record for field goals.

Totally agree with you, Puddy. Rackers was on a serious streak, and besides Boldin and Fitzgerald, was one of the bright spots for the Cards.

No. The FF season ends in four weeks. I wish I'd have dropped him yesterday when I picked up another kicker. :D

The Cards have to make sure that he's available for their playoff run. :D:D
