weekapaug
Our lineup deadline rule is as follows: "Allow lineup changes to any player in an early game until five minutes before kickoff of the early game, and at 12:55pm EST on Sunday for everyone else." Most of the games are on Saturday at 1:00, are they really "early games" if most of the teams are playing then ? There isn't even a 1:00 game on Sunday so the 12:55 Sunday thing is kind of weird too. I don't recall ever having this many games on Saturday.

According to the letter of the league rules, the Saturday games are "early games". But if it was written differently, it could mean the Saturday games are the regular games. Kid Cid
That's why we wrote our rules to say "Players are locked at 5 minutes before kickoff of their game." This gives you the flexibility of changing your sunday players for late scratches on Sunday morning even if there were Saturday games. Assuming you have someone available from another Sunday game that is.
STL Fan
This is clearly a "spirit of the rule" situation isn't it? Clearly (at least to me) the rule means to say that the lineup deadline is 5 minutes before a player's gametime if it happens before 1:00 Sunday regardless of when that game happens, and 12:55 for everyone else. Period. Anything else is walking the line between what is legal and what is right, isn't that right, Mr. President? The real question is why doesn't your rule set the deadline as 5 minutes before a player's game starts regardless of when that is, and remove all ambiguity?
