Skippy
Man am I glad I wasn't reading this thread all along. I knew I was going to come and see the "if Palmer didn't get hurt" stuff but man is this a Steeler hating thread or what?
Menudo
From Rotowire: Update on Menudo. After further examination, the twisted ankle that Menudo obtained during the Steelers-Bengals game has been found to be minor. His fata$$ should be fine to drink Iron City's for the rest of the Bengal game and annoy every Huddler with his devotion to the Steelers. This is a "Menudo is drunk and obnoxious" thread, not a Stiller hating one.

Palmer had nothing to do with it. The better team always wins.

You are innocent.
Menudo
Nothing will stop the Palmer excuses, but, considering the circumstances, Kitna played very well. The Steelers played Steeler football in the 2nd half and took control of the game. Plain and simple.
theeohiostate
Nothing will stop the Palmer excuses, 1255102 There should be no excuses, Kitna played better than Palmer would have. I don't see any way Palmer matches the 53 yards passing in the 2nd half that Kitna posted.

Vet
I'd like to see the Bengals get a defensive or special teams score here, just to make it interesting down the stretch.

myhousekey
So Torn MCL and ACL for palmer.....did they say they thought he'd be ready for camp earlier? Surely not?
Menudo
Unless Carson Palmer plays defense, he would have made little defense in the 2nd half. The Bengals know the Steelers are running, and the Steelers are still pounding out 1st downs.

Palmer couldn't penetrate the "Steel Curtain", Cincy was better off today with Kitna. Two 2nd half picks for the savy vetern could have been doubled for the inexperienced Palmer. tonorator
Kitna played very well.1255102 you are talking about the chicken with his head cut off that threw 2 interceptions in the 2nd half? maybe you are smoking something as well as drinking. tonorator
Does Carson Palmer play D now? 1255115 him being out affects the psyche of the entire team, on both sides of the ball. your D goes downhill fast when you lose hope in your offense. news flash - jon kitna is not carson palmer. makes me a bit sick to my stomach to watch the steelers celebrate knowing how they won it.
