ok, i can already see it coming ... menudo and hook will be going at it all week, so let's give them one place to do it vs. across dozens of threads. i hereby dedicate this thread to menudo and hook to have a gentlemen's debate about this weekend's game and respectfully ask all other huddlers to only post in the event of clarifying facts. other than that, we will all have a single place to monitor this debate ... i know none of us want to miss a word.

ready ... set ... go!

ok, this will get you started ...

"Indianapolis led the November meeting from the beginning, taking an early lead with an 80-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Peyton Manning to wide receiver Marvin Harrison on the Colts’ first play from scrimmage.

The Colts then finished off the Steelers with one of their most dominating defensive performances of the season. The Steelers scored a touchdown on a short first-half drive following a Troy Polamalu interception of a pass from Manning, but Pittsburgh finished with just 86 yards on 25 carries.

The Colts outgained Pittsburgh 366-197 in that meeting."

QUESTION - What has changed? Menudo - I know you have stated some things about on who's back the monkey sits, but seriously, what can Pitt do, specifically, to stop the Indy machine? Why will this not be another drubbing?

The Steelers win a playoff game and this whole entire forum comes to life.  Blame Menudo all you want but he just likes to support his team of choice.  All those threads that he starts have tons of replies.  :D

Menudo is in the running for Huddle Fisherman Of The Year award.

Pretty good for someone not intentionally fishing.

Captain Hook is an arrogant, gloating, homerfied little b!t@h,

Who'd love to be the meat in a Manning - Harrison sandwich.

He brags and brags and brags about the Colts, with no end in site,

Is this a case of the pot calling the kettle black, you're mother f'n right;

Peyton is a whiner, and he looks like a complete slow before the snap,

The hit we've got planned for him, will make Palmer's look like a love tap;

The Colts season was a dream, but Sunday they will wake up when,

They are beaten in the playoffs, and Peanuthead is outdueled by Ben;

So keep your yapping, Captain, there's still 6 days to go,

And after Sunday, just remember, that Menudo told you so !!!!

2 more to go for those betting the over. :D

Menudo's poems have caused me much pain,

Like leaping from my chair with a mild ankle sprain.

When I joined the huddle I thouht it would be men being men,

Instead I get poems again and again.

I think fellow huddler's would all think it grand,

If he wrote poems we would not understand.

So to save us all of this anguish,

Please write your poems in something like spanglish.

The first two lines were good, but it continually went downhill from there. Good effort though. :D

Yes, and I noticed after reading about you being in the middle of a Manning - Harrison sandwich, you were away from your computer for like 15 minutes. :D

Sorry, didn't meant to get you excited.

I thought maybe they were replaying a New England - Indy playoff game, or a Tennessee-Florida Peyton Manning era game. :D
