oops thats a baseball score.

sox beat cardinals 20-6

By the time the third inning had come to a close, the White Sox sent 16 men to the plate and knocked out 12 hits. Every player in the lineup had a hit, and every player in the lineup scored at least one run.

They fell five hits short of the club record of 29, set on April 23, 1955, against Kansas City, and scored the team's most runs in an inning since plating 11 against Seattle on April 18, 2000.

six White Sox players with at least two RBIs.

Sox scored more runs than KC had wins at the beginning of the day

I will always remember this game.

At least it wasn't the Cubs who beat the Cards. The Sox are a MACHINE!!! Why LaRussa let Mulder stay in to give up 7 runs in less than 3 innings is a mystery to me. I know I'm just a spoiled Cards fan but one of my questions about LaRussa is his staying with a starter when it's obvious that they don't have their good stuff on a given evening. The Sox flat out killed the Cards last nite. I'd like to see these two in the Series come October.
