cliaz
Out of all the movies with kings in them, by far the king from braveheart is my favorite. He is a ruthless MF. I love it when smalled at the princess when he was describing how his Nobles will bangs a bride on her wedding night because he was banging her cuz her husband was a fruit loop. And when he chucked the pillow biter out of the window for talking to him. Ruthless.

DMD
Longshanks was not a nice person. I especially liked it when the princess waited until Longshanks could not speak and then told him she was preggers with someone else's kid.
Ursa Majoris
Longshanks was not a nice person. There are few parts of Braveheart that are even remotely accurate. Edward I, nicknamed "Longshanks" due to his great height and stature, was perhaps the most successful of the medieval monarchs. The first twenty years of his reign marked a high point of cooperation between crown and community. In these years, Edward made great strides in reforming government, consolidating territory, and defining foreign policy. He possessed the strength his father lacked and reasserted royal prerogative. Edward fathered many children as well: sixteen by Eleanor of Castille before her death in 1290, and three more by Margaret. Longshanks quick bio Edward's campaigns in Scotland were ruthless and aroused in the Scots a hatred of England that would endure for generations........ ...this seems pretty accurate.... Im not using this post to pad im simply reassuring the huddler who posted the quote above that I am in agreement with the general sentiments of their post © Longshanks is a favorite among me and my friends. Braveheart is one of my top five movies of all time.. "Who is this person who talks to me as if I needed his advice" "Philip is skilled at the arts of war.."Tell me what you would do about the current situation (as he says situation he tosses him from the roof..Classic. Edward's campaigns in Scotland differed little from any other campaign of the period - most were marked by viciousness in a period that cannot be judged by the mores we have in place now. Note that the Scots were raiding into England's northern counties at the time.

She was absolutely HOT in that movie. I also have Braveheart listed in my top 5. I usually have to get a Braveheart fix every month.
