tonorator
it is going to be a long pre-season if we are going to rate every team that is drafted by every person who comes to the message boards ... can we please put up a "Rate My Team" forum? i'm going to post this as a suggestion. i'm not sure what you want to hear. most people posting their entire line-ups are just bragging in a subliminal way, looking for pats on the back. when they get criticism, then they get defensive and the thread goes downhill fast. what can you say about this team? bush and maloney are great players for the future. cmart is the walking dead so you are only hoping for one good year. hass is a solid QB and lefty is an adequate back-up. you didn't land a #1 stud receiver, but you have a good enough core to run out solid players each week. no issues at TE and it is pointless to rate kickers and defenses. there, does that help? didn't you already know all this before you posted? Too be honest NO that's why I asked..I for 1 get so into my own draft that it can be a whirlwind and really it's nice to get opinions from all kinds of diffrent views..If it bothered you so much why answer???? This is the first contract league I have been involved in and really looking just for opinions on the team..I'm not into bragging and I'm not looking for a pat on the back. it's a new format for me and I'm just looking for views from people maybe more experienced in this type of league...Hey Thanks..I guess..You did not need to respond if you chose not too and it's a free country..I did not stick a gun to your head to read this crap!!! Good Luck on your season..U are of course must be a guru of some sorts..Enjoy the rest of your long preseason.

No problem and your advice is appreciated. I have to be honest, I have been little more down on this team than maybe I should be. The begining of the draft really did not go like I thought it would and had to play catch up some with the Wr's so I totally did not have a useless Wr squad and the end or the middle rounds and last part of my draft I felt went well and stayed in front of the runs. I really did not know how to approach this draft. Do you think of it as a redraft or a keeper??? I treated the first half of the draft like keeper and then chose 2nd have as redraft. I was not aware of the contracts not being given till next season. I'm sure that would have effected how I drafted. I agree and I'm hoping 2 of these wr's break out and have a better year than expected, but really this team is probaly at least a year or two off from contention. I need to be smart with Fa and rookie drafts.

I need to be smart with Fa and rookie drafts. it is conceivable that you will need a #2 RB. cmart is the best thing you have going and he is a big injury risk at his age. blalock is not a sure thing as his handcuff with houston in the mix. bush and maloney still have mcalister and dillon to deal with, so they may not get enough touches. i don't know what the other rosters look like, but i'd be surprised if you took it all the way this season with this group. most of your players are known commodities vs. those that are sitting on hugh upsides, outside of bush/maloney. if they do come through, then anything is possible and you might be able to deal one mid-season to a team that is rebuilding who will give up the stud WR(s) you need. i don't think this is highly likely, but anything is possible!
