thecerwin
I have about 20 people coming over tonight to watch the fight! I'm excited to see Ortiz and Shamrock again. Let's hope Shamrock puts up a bigger fight than Gracie did.

Menudo
I've got about 10 to 15 coming over for the fights tonight. I'm jacked up for it. I really don't see how Shamrock can turn around the beating he got from Ortiz, but, the guy does have heart, and they really don't like each other. I predict Shamrock gives Ortiz a better fight, but, just can't hang with Ortiz. Ortiz knocks him out in the 3rd. Arlovsky vs. Sylvia III will be a lot of fun. I'm definitely rooting for Arlovsky, but, it is going to be a great, close fight. I'll take Arlovsky to submit Sylvia in the 4th round. Shoudl be fun. nuke'em ttg
OMG....result might not have been different but that was one of the worst stops I've ever seen. i didn't see the fight.......Ortiz says "Ken went limp with the first elbow the ref made the right call" ...I bet Shamrock took that call really well..... .....Ref upfront should know that's one fight that can't be stopped without a tap out.......Herb Dean is no Big John.......Dana White have any thoughts ????? zmanzzzz
that was the weakest ufc event i have ever seen. the pro wrestling hype they are trying to create is gay. shamrock is done and the ref is just saving kens life like the organizers told him to. even the main event was weak. thecerwin
After the 1st fight, the rest of the action sucked. 100% true. The first fight was freakin awesome, blood was everywhere and no one was quitting. The doctor ended up calling the fight because of a giant gash in Yves' head. Joe Stevenson commented after the fight how it was hard to get a solid hit because he was so slippery from the blood. I am very disappointed with Frank Mir. That kid has gained a lot of weight was looked like a fat lazy whale. He was exhausted after the first round and overall it was a boring fight that last 15 minutes. The Shamrock and Ortiz fight was called too early. The outcome would have been the same with Ortiz winning but I felt cheated out of watching a true grudge match. I don't know why Big John McCarthy wasn't the ref of this fight. He is the only good ref that will not call the decision until every single chip has fallen where it may. The Neer vs Burkman fight was okay. It lasted the whole 15 minutes and there wasn't anything spectacular about it. Tim Sylvia and Arlovski had the most boring fight of the night. I was pissed about this fight. There wasn't enough animosity between the fighters. It actually seemed like they liked each other. There were a couple occasions where one of them would land a punch then retreat and give the other guy a high five. I didn't pay to see man love in the octagon. Hopefully UFC 62 will be better. They are bringing Chuck Liddell back into the octagon with Renato "Babalu" Sobral. Should be a good fight. Next UFC August 26th.
