World of Warcraft is played online similar to Evercrack.....er, um Everquest. Its Warcrafts answer to Everquest. I believe there are subscrition fees involved like Everquest Warcraft III can be played standalone, one player vs the computer. It also has internet options for multiple players that also have copies of warcraft III Get him Warcraft III

TDFFFreak
I was always a Starcraft fan. Loved the Starcraft. I'm not playing too many video games these days, but if they came out with a Starcraft 2 RTS game, I'd be all over that.
Furd
I think that you should watch this introductory video by Leeroy Jenkins before you make a decision.
cliaz
World of Warcraft is an MMORPG where as world of warcraft is a stand alone game that can be played on line War craft III - is a turn base war game World of warcraft - is a great way to for your wife to leave you
Joe Cool
World of Warcraft is an MMORPG where as world of warcraft is a stand alone game that can be played on line War craft III - is a turn base war game World of warcraft - is a great way to for your wife to leave you Warcraft III is a Real Time Strategy Game (RTS) It is NOT a turn base game. You are correct in that World of Warcraft is a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) and in order to play it you need to pay a monthly subscription and should have a broad band internet connection. AtomicCEO
Our shipping guy was a druggie and a DJ who would spin records until 5 in the morning, then show up for work all tired and spun out. He still worked hard and got the job done though. Then he started playing World of Warcraft, and he is for sh8t now. He shows up late, doesn't get anything done, and is spacey. I can barely tear him away from his gayass "guild" forums during the day. I don't even think he DJs anymore. Seriously... World of Warcraft is worse than drugs. cliaz
I used to date skanks because if I was being chased by the cops I would hide my stash in her bum.
