Faulk to IR

Just pulled this off of CBS sportsline....

News: The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the Rams are expected to place Marshall Faulk (knees) on the injured reserve, which means the end of Faulk's pro football career. Once the best back in fantasy football, Faulk's knees have been a real problem in recent seasons.

Analysis: The Post-Dispatch also reports that the Rams will acquire Michael Bennett from New Orleans at some point before camp to serve as the No. 2 back behind Steven Jackson. Faulk now warrants no consideration in drafts.

And that they'll most likely go after Bennett to be Jackson's backup.....

to bad the rams have gotten rid of all their decent backups. a harris would have been nice to have about now.

Michael Bennett trade rumors re-surface.

But lets play tribute to Marshall. A great talent, fantasy god, took demotions well. Became a great teammate.

Here here. He was responsible for me losing several championships around that time. He was an absolute monster in his day.
