jaxfactor
It was actually looking good for the NL finally. Then disaster happens with 2 outs in the 9th. If 3rd baseman isn't guarding the line, the ballgame's over. But as it happens again and again, the AL gets a ground rule double followed by the game winning triple. Rivera gets the save and the AL wins a of an allstar game.
max
The game was played in PNC park. Of course the home team lost. As Pittsburgh guys you know we should expect that Jax. It was a decent finish though. Edited July 12, 2006 by max

rhino
Brad Lidge must've been pitching the 9th. (i know, he wasn't even in Pittsburgh this year.)
Puddy
Now the Tigers will have home field advantage in the World Series I actually posted this in the correct forum first
Ursa Majoris
The NL's main problem is that it's crap compared to the AL.

wiegie
The nice thing about this is that the Cardinals will be able to be at home when they finish their sweep to win the World Series.

As a Cardinal "AND" White Sox fan i'm just not sure how I feel about that.

major-tom
Brad Lidge must've been pitching the 9th. (i know, he wasn't even in Pittsburgh this year.) Beat me to it. Funny I thought that 5.79 ERA would be enough to get him there.
Chargerz
It was Trevor Hoffman He's such a class guy, and he's having a great year. I hated to see it happen to him and the NL!!
Trots
The AL is just a far superior league at this point. Gotta love that DH. Edited July 12, 2006 by Trots

Miner
That idiot garner should have had Rolen at third, not the defensive liability of Cabrera. Rolen can cover alot more ground, so he wouldn't have needed to be 2 inches off the line like Cabrera was. Everyone knows you go with defense in the late innings of a tight game. Miner
why the rolling eyes? Cabrera is a joke defensively. I'm not saying Rolen would have definitley made the play but he sure as hell has a better chance than Miguel Cabrera. Did you see the other day when he got in a fight with Scott Olsen for loafing it in the field?

Redfish
Gotta love the underappreciated Michael Young. Unassuming, humble and clutch. Too bad the Rangers still can't pitch.
