whomper
My wife and friends all bust my chops about how im reluctant to change things . When I like something or if im used to something I dont like to deviate much from it. I work with one of my childhood friends and we usually get breakfast and lunch together almost everyday. Yesterday he commented on how I didnt have to say my breakfast or lunch order. The people just looked at me and said "the usual" and I said yes. Are any of you like that ? Kid Cid
I'm definitely not afraid to try new things but I always have a "go to". Not quite as frequent as a "usual".

Big John
I have a couple places I go to, and they know me and what I order, so they just prepare it without me even asking. So that is a yes.
twiley
I like variety. Life's too short so I try and enjoy it.
chiefjay
Nope, I like to mix it up. My old lady is a usual though. She almost always orders the same thing...

Caveman_Nick
I like variety. Life's too short so I try and enjoy it. I have such a hard time getting my wife to understand this concept...and why it should only be true for men.
Azazello1313
nah, i'm really not. my wife sure is, though. for example...a couple years ago she'd never really had thai food, so i took her and told her, you know, she'd probably like the massaman curry, maybe she should try that. two years, and probably 15 trips to various thai restaurants later, she's never ordered anything OTHER than massaman curry chicken. Coffeeman
Sort of. We have many different places we eat for variety, but when at each one, I tend to order the same 1-2 faves. That means pizza (pepperoni or bbq chicken), beer (Sam Adams or the Porter @ BJ's Brewery), Thai (pad thai, yellow chicken curry, and that sweet Thai iced tea,) burritos (Baja Fresh -baja burrito-steak), tacos (baja fish style from Rubio's,) burgers (In-N-Out Double-double only) and donuts (old fashioned glaze and chocloate/chocolate cake). And a few others, but this list is long enuf already. Does that count?
montster
at my old job, there was a pizza place i used to call for takeout. i'd say, "hi, i'd like to get an order for pick up," and the guy'd say, "is this monty?" i'd say, "yeah," and he'd say, "we'll have it waiting." T_bone65
I have my preferences when it comes to what to eat at what place we are at. So I guess you could say yes I am a "usual".

Brewer
Depends. Usually when I go out to eat I will try whatever sounds or looks good at the time. However, my Friday afternoon lunch is always the same. Go to the same restaurant/bar, get draft Yuengling, start with an order of wings and then have buffalo chicken tenders for lunch. Been doing it for 12 years. I spend all week dealing with arseholes and idiots and making decisions. When Friday lunch rolls around, I just want to sit down and enjoy some quiet time. I sometimes fall in the same category. I may switch it up a little and if I like something I make that my usual for a long long time..
