Sigalf03
Notables on my roster are RB D. McCallister L. Maroney J. Addai B. Jacobs T. Henry A. Petterson WR S. Smith A. Boldin L. Coles T. Williamon M. Williams S. Parker M. Bradley M. Booker We start 2RBs 2WR, and 1Flex (among other positions) I was offered McGahee for Boldin straight up Origionally I was excited about the offer but thinking about it longer, Boldin had 100 more points then McGahee did last year (PPR league) So what does everyone think???? I know I really need the help at RB but also salivate at the thought of starting S. Smith and A. Boldin at WR (i just got Boldin through trade).... Footballjoe
I would do it. You have Deuce who is injury prone but if healthy will give you good numbers. You have the 2 rookies that may be great in the future but if you want to win now. You could offer one of the rookie rb's to get another WR. Look at all options before you leap. rcswildcat
you really need a rb, but i really dont like mcgahee. you would lack depth at wr if you traded boldin, but you lack depth at rb now. i guess you could make a case to do it, but i would try someone else who is stockpiled on rbs is and willing to overpay for boldin i would have to say if this is the best you can do - do it. you need some rb help bad Edited July 12, 2006 by rcswildcat

I also think McGahee will bounce back this season as well...

tomfin2000
I don't know...a guy that's had 1/2 a really good fantasy season on a team that's sinking fast and may take years to dig itself out of the hole (McGahee) vs. a guy that's had 2 really good fantasy seasons on a team that's on it's way up and loaded with young talent (Boldin)? That's the kind of deal that I would have taken a couple of years ago because it looked too good on paper to pass it up even though my gut was screaming at me to walk away from the table and keep my player. Since then, I've learned to trust my gut. Edited July 12, 2006 by tomfin2000

I will agree...if that deal was presented to me...I wouldn't take it... but looking at the big picture....I think that taking Mcgahee has better value and Boldin's knee worries me just as much as Mcgahee's does... I'd rather lose Mcgahee for a whole season than lose Boldin for a month each season.....and then actually be gone for 2 months.... the logic may sound twisted...but I like to know what I am getting with my player.... godtomsatan
I wouldn't do it. You're trading an elite WR combo for an above average (if healthy) RB situation.

XFlash
Tough one. Since dynasty, I believe that your current RBs (Maroney & Addai) have greatest opportunity to learn and be productive in the 2nd year and beyond. You have a solid starting 3 WR - Smith, Boldin, Coles, but your younger WRs will probably take longer to mature into viable starting WRs. I would roll dice and most likely pass on this. KUBJPO01
I think one of your rookie RB"s will step up and I would also salivate over thought of starting Smith and BOldin. Don't do it!

tonorator
it doesn't look like you are going to compete this season with those RBs, so i would probably hold on to boldin and count on your young RBs to step up in future seasons. having said that, this could go either way. it is a fair trade, it just depends on how you want to build your team for the future. badboy
I would try to get another RB besdies McGahee---this deal to me isn't an even trade--I think Boldin has more value than McGahee---
