KUBJPO01
Agreed. I think TO is gonna make Bledsoe look really, really good this year.
ROYALWITCHEESE
This might sum it up. In 2002, 2003, and 2005, Mcnabb threw 17, 16, and 16 tds respectively. The missing year 2004 was when he got with TO who only caught 14 tds (in 14 games) to bring Mcnabbs 04 total to 31! Also went to the big dance where they lost largely due to Owens injury. But without an injured TO they wouldn't even have been in the game. Moss wouldn't even have suited up with that injury. No T.O 16 or 17tds add TO and get almost double. This also worked for Jeff Garcia and will work for Bledsoe who had 23 tds without TO last year. Moss is soft and seldom goes across the middle. Bledsoe is way better than Brooks. 2+2=4 T.O in 2006 Nice selective post rook!! Leave out the fact that McNabb only played 10 games in 02, the fact that all his WRs were injured most of the year in 03--which is what prompted the TO signing to begin with, and the two previous years in which he posted 21 and 25 TDs...... And Moss played through all injuries. He's missed 3 total games in 8 years.... Edited July 17, 2006 by ROYALWITCHEESE

Who cares about what happened 5 or 6 years ago? In football nobody. Who cares that Jamal Lewis was a beast 2003? Nobody that's who. Now don't get me wrong Moss is the $hit but we're comparing 2 players in different situations. If they were on opposite teams I might go with Moss. T.O is simply in a better situation in my opinion. Better system. Better QB. Better Coach. Bledsoe is the happiest player on that team right now.
Avernus
while I do agree with most of what yo mama said....Horn was hurt for probably more than half the season last year... Stallworth saw more looks by default... Brooks could easily key in on Moss and then Porter would be his Stallworth unless traded and with Moss getting injured plenty the past few years...it wouldn't be a shocker.. I've been watching/playing football for more years than you probably been born son. Newb to this site but not to the game. I brought up my historical data to show how T.O has affected various QBs. The other guy brought up years to show what Moss used to be. With all his lingering injuries it's hard for him to get back to that form with Aaron brooks behind center. That's all I was tryin to say. And my post could never be worthless cause everything was factual.

scorp25
Lots of intriguing stats and info in this thread! An argument for both players has been well made. I think the majority of us agree it’s a close call going into preseason. Although, I'm sticking with my original statement: TO. 1) Bledsoe IMO is a better QB then Brooks 2) TO will be lobbying for the ball every play in the huddle, especially in division games. 3) Moss doesn’t have the same intensity he once had. 4) Brooks has looked completely lost to many times behind center. I think we're starting to over analyzing both WR's and QB's stats from prior years. My instinct has lead me to many victories and that same Instinct lead to draft TO early in last year’s draft lol That’s why I love FFL!! jaxfactor
This is getting rather fun to watch. Getting back to the original post, I like TO hands down. I don't trust Brooks as far as I can throw him. Mix in the fact that Moss can take plays off when he's not in the mood. TO can be a horse's arss, but when he's on the field he usually gives 100%. I love his situation in big D. The last time TO switched teams there were alot of doubters. I went with him in the 2nd round in 2004 and he was the MVP of my championship team, although he did go down late in the year, I had enough depth to offset his injury. litdog
DOn't really think there is a lot to think about here. Owens is more than just a deep threat, he is out to prove something in his wacko brain, and they will throw the ball to him a ton. McNabb threw a nice deep ball to him, but sucked with the short/intermediate passes that he can also take to the house. Bledsoe will deliver those shorter balls better, and he still throws deep well. Moss has a new QB again in Brooks, but Brooks is the king of garbage time fantasy points so Moss could be great in the 4th quarter when Oakland is prob getting its butt whooped. And believe me I am being honest. I am from Philly and hate TO with a passion but he is def the better fantasy player.
