Read this quote from Ted Stevens, Republican Senator for Alaska since 1968, and ask yourself how it is that a driveling old codger like this is still making laws for the world's most advanced country.

"But this [movie rental] service is now going to go through the Internet ... [Y]ou can order 10 of them delivered to you and the delivery charge is free. Ten of them streaming across that Internet and what happens to your own personal Internet? I just the other day got, an Internet was sent by my staff at 10 o'clock in the morning on Friday and I just got it yesterday. Why? Because it got tangled up with all these things going on the Internet commercially. ... They want to deliver vast amounts of information over the Internet. And again, the Internet is not something you just dump something on. It's not a truck. It's a series of tubes."

Amen....Kennedy, Byrd, and a few others are useless. Time to move on. Look at Strom Thurmond. He was not even coherent at the end of his life, but he was still in office. I guess the same can be said for Hillary though...LOL

I once waited over three days for an internet to be delivered... now that's just unacceptable! Why can't we just designate some tubes for our personal internets, and other separate but equal tubes for those annoying commercial internets?
