spain
Those Israelis certainly are vile, what with their democratic government, willingness to compromise with terrorists, and constant defense of themselves after they are attacked. Considering the stunts the US has pulled after ONE terrorist attack on our soil, I don't think any American can throw stones at the Israeli handling of the Palestinian situation as it currently stands. I am not throwing stones at the Israeli's and dont blame them a bit. As a matter of fact, I believe that they have been much too restrained over the years in dealing with terrorist attacks. That doesnt have anything to do with my point.
rbmcdonald
Plain and simple, Isreal will never turn its backon the Western Wall and the muslim world will never turn its back on the Dome of the Rock. Until some agreement is reached that satisifies both of these requirements, there will never be peace. In the meatime, tactical nukes were created for a reason. Declare Jerusalem an International City, and give equal access to Jews, Christians, Muslems and Followers of the Giant Spagetti Monster. Put China in charge of security (that hate all relegions equally, and they would jump at the chance for the International Prestegie) also smething tells me that they will take the occasional death of one of thier soilders a little more in stride. Jimmy Neutron
If you're a glass half full kind of guy, this Iranian thing may be temporary. That same generation pre-9/11 is still there and it hasn't changed it's mind. Some of the theocratic hierarchy are also not in the mold of Khomeini, too. All is not lost in Iran. Yup. Unlike North Korea, Iranian youth have access to the outside world and a lot of them want a modern democracy. I've talked to a couple of guys recently that have worked in Iran that believe the political chemistry could change there pretty quickly. It would be awesome if it did. A "natural" revolution in Iran would have more far-reaching affect on other middle-east countries than the best of results of our invasion of Iraq could ever have. joethin
yes I could, but I am going to bed--lets just say that the post was basically just a bunch of conspiracy theory nonsense Did not want to get into a conspiracy debate (enough research will support whatever theory). However, it is really hard to ignore the fact that most of present/past board members of the FRB are of Jewish origin. What I was trying to point out is that our relationship with Israel is not going anywhere. The roots are way too deep to try and cut the tree now. One can't (or doesn't) want to live without the other.
SuperBalla
Give the Isrealis all the military firepower they want, let them loose. They will solve all our problems for us... then when China gets involved, say your prayers, cause Jesus is a'comin. I agree with this...fek the world as it has always found its way feking us. Give Israel whatever they need and let them win ...for good. That would also include Iraq and Iran.
Avernus
the best thing about this is Israel can pretty much fight this war however they want.... we have a whole list of rules we have to follow when we go over there.... Israel can do pretty much whatever they want...

What I was trying to point out is that our relationship with Israel is not going anywhere. The roots are way too deep to try and cut the tree now. One can't (or doesn't) want to live without the other. Your first sentence is a BS attempt to obfuscate the truth. Secondly--I have no idea how many Federal Reserve Board members have been Jewish. But here is a list and since you are the expert could you please identify the Jews and non-Jews for us. Secondly, since you are arguing that the FRB controls the government, please explain to all of us exactly how people get to be members of the Federal Reserve Board. (I'll make it easy on you and tell you that the President appoints board members and they then must be approved by the Senate. I will leave it up to you to explain to all of us how this corresponds to your previous statement "furthermore, the FRB is basically controlled by 20 families. In other words, the country is controlled by 20 very powerful families." Another nonsense statement was the following: "When the Gov talks about the deficit, it is talking about the amount owned to the Federal Reserve Bank. " First off, you are confusing deficit with debt. Secondly, while it is true that the FED holds US government securities, the amount it holds totals only about 10% of the total government debt. (Which I think is about the same amount as what Japan holds) Finally, I don't care what you were trying to point out. If you use BS to do it, it doesn't count. Are we hiding extra terrestrials in Area 51? Did the gobment blow up the levee's in New Orleans to kill the blacks? Are the Bilderbergs controlling the world? You are flat out nutty and I will not even attempt to disabuse you of these outlandish conspiracy theories as you apparently are too stupid and too whacked out to even know that how ridiculous they sound. But know this, every Huddler now knows the secret about you. And we will be watching. All the time. And those voices you hear deep in your head, is the sound of DMD's voice penetrating your tin foil hat. Randall
It is obvious that all of these arabs in the middle east are anti-semitic. Spain, you have a theory? Doesn't that require too much thought and not enough action?

joethin
Obviously I touched a nerve. I stand corrected on the debt issue (not deficit). With weegie so upset, now I'm afraid to say what I know in fear of persecution. Wrong statements to express a point of view. Since you do not admit to being corrected on anything other than the debt issue, please expound on the other hypothesis you put forward (the 20 families control the FED hypothesis). Seriously, I would like to learn more about this hypothesis (and the particularly the evidence you have to support it).
TimC
I vote we implement the Far Right Policy . Israel moves into Lebanon and makes a far right turn into Syria until they bump into Iraq. We make a far right turn into Iran until we bump into Afghanistan. No more problems and gas is 38 cents a gallon. The only question is if we should enslave the Muslims or just outright kill them all.
