mamaboy
I have the chance to take the 4th pick out of 12, not real happy about it but not sure if i should take a later draft positon, we get one point for receptions, 6 for tds, and 1 point for every 10 yards. right if i take the 4th pick I would take either Tiki or Portis, Tiki might be better since he catches so many passes, any suggestions
Big John
I would try to trade down if I had the 4th, as I would not lose too much in the first, but get a better player in the 2nd.

mamaboy
Does that translate into the 2nd round as well? Â its just a basic serpintine draft after the first round
mamaboy
Am am thinking about taking the 5th pick and take either tiki or portis, which ever falls down, then i should be able to take a top 8 WR as my second pick or maybe even Gates
irish
I would drop down even more and basically pick double and take 2 very solid RBs. Â My view is if I didn't get Top 3 I'd want the last pick or right before it. Edited July 15, 2006 by irish

Getting two solid running-backs will set you up nice. Â I agree with if I didn't get a top three pick, I would want a pick near the end. Those middle picks will suck this year. Footballjoe
Could you choose the #4 pick then say "anyone want to trade up" and get an extra pick?
cdj7k
it appears this year to me. the draft position after the first 3 picks is more about your 2nd and 3rd pick. if you stay around 4or 5 you get the opportunity for 3 quality difference makers in the early rounds rather than chasing runs. checkout the mocks JMO
KUBJPO01
You take the 8th pick and look to draft Lamont Jordan who gets a ton of recepts. and then take one of the top 5 WR's with 2nd rounder.
wildbluefan
Take PORTIS and run with him, he is under tutelage now of one Al Saunders, the man who knows a few things about making RBs fantasy stars ! (Priest and LJ ) !
