Don't be jealous that New York has the most passionate fans in the world. I guess you are more of a man for throwing your insults out on an internet message board rather than saying it to someone's face.

spain
Don't be jealous that New York has the most classless fans in the world. I guess they would rather cuss and swear in front of kids instead of setting a good example. Their rude and boorish behavior knows no bounds. fixed

Most poeple in the world know that behaivoir as "spoiled brats". You've always had a winning team, and, judging by that video, you are classless, rude, arrogant jerks because of it. I guess if I give my kid everything he wants, and he turns out to be a spoiled rude dick to everyone, I'll just call him "passionate". Gotta agree with CEO here, NY deserves the Knicks, Jets, and the Rangers, and certainly doesnt deserve either baseball team. And the idea I heard on ESPN radio a few months back, that NY has the most people in its city, means they should be able to charge more for everything, becasue of supply and demand, actually agree with that, AND that being a city of that size they should be able to spend more because they bring in more regardless of what that spending does to the balance of the league. Sorry, but I could care less how many sardines you fit into that aluminum can you call a city. The fact is George is entitled to make whatever he can off the Spankees, but the Spanks need to be on the same playing field as everyone else, and keep competitive balance, because without the likes of Kansas City, and Cleveland, opponents to play that overpriced ball club, the Spanks are nothing. justin
I agree that Yankees fans are obnoxious, but i don't think they compare to Raiders fans. I'll never forget attending a playoff game in the early 1990's at the LA Coliseum, where there were quite a few Broncos fans wearing spamshirts. It seemed as if each one had to be escorted out of the stadium by police officers for their own safety. Broncos fans were beaten. It wasn't pretty and that Yankees fan clip seems like nothing compared to what a Broncos fan would endure at a Raiders home game. Plus baseball is for pansies. cheezhed
Because of where I live, I've been to several Philthadelphia games (to root for the opponent of course). These fans are right up there with NY. Watched them take a guys Giants starter jacket and pass it through the crowd. It took security to get it back. Needless to say, it was ruined with beer and ripped to shreds. Real cool Didn't the Vet have a small jail in it??? Ursa Majoris
At least here we can (mostly) sit next to opposition fans in safety. In Europe and South America and elsewhere, crowds are strictly segregated and they occasionally lob hand grenades into the opposition section, as well as darts, chairs, throwing stars and lumps of concrete. Some games are attended by riot police, others by the Army. Being shouted and jeered at is nothing to worry about by comparison.
Hugh 0ne
Wow. That was terrible. I mean, horrendous. I mean, I'm just shocked.
