Footballjoe
In a 3 player keeper league with PPR and .1 per yard for rushing/recieving does this seem like an equal trade? I do not want to involve other players just whether this trade is of equal value. 1) Domanick Davis for Steve Smith or 2) Dominack Davis & Jeremy Shockey for Steve Smith & Todd Heap Thanks
nuke'em ttg
Steve Smith has been fantasy gold for me (everyone) i've never been on the DD bandwagon, don't no if that's equal...can't be far off.... but i would do what it takes to get Smith....... KUBJPO01
It's tough to say w/ out knowing who else is on your roster. Steve Smith should have a really good year again, barring injury. Davis will get you about 900 yds rushing and probably another 300-400 in rec. yds. plus about 9 or 10 TD's. But, will this trade make or break your team? and will it leave you thin somewhere? Tell us more about the rosters in question...
SpinalTapp
DD is a #2RB with upside and downside risk, depending on whether he stays healthy or not (which of course he never has for a full 16) S.Smith is a top 5 #1 WR. If both play a full 16 game schedule, I would predict similar numbers out of both. However, I would rather have Smith until DD proves he can play 16 games. I rank Shockey a few spots higher than Heap (who is now in uncharter waters with a new QB who already has a lock WR in Mason).
Footballjoe
The rest of my players (rb, wr & te) are below. My main point in the question though was wanting to know if those players involved were of equal value not how they will effect my team. We do start 2 rb, 3 wr, 1 te and a flex rb/wr/te. R Brown, DD, Dunn, Lendale White, M Barber, Wali Lundi Wayne, McCardell, Toomer, Booker, Wilford Shockey, Alex Smith, Wiggins P.S. the prospective trade is with a Huddler so you can PM me if necessary
KUBJPO01
sorry, got confused b/c I didn't see Smith or Davis on that roster. Anyway, I guess I'd have to say that Smith would be worth more than Dom based on impact at respective position, tehrefore it would not be an even trade unless guy giving up Davis is strong at RB and weak at WR. pls see mine. SpinalTapp
With the clarified lineup configuration, I would rather see you hold what you got. The upside of Brown and DD will make up for any deficiencies with your #2WR. Better yet, you may get lucky with one of your WRs (like Williams) posting strong numbers. Also, if White steps up, you will have enough RB depth to trade either Dunn or White for some WR relief if need be. Good luck.
