Def.
Looking for my 2nd keeper and have to choose between S. Jackson and Holt. Drafting 6th (1st choice at 3.6) this year so whichever I don't keep will be gone by the time it comes to me. My 1st keeper is S. Alexander so keeping both is not an option. Who would you take? Thx for the thoughts in advance. League info - 8 team performance Roster: 3QB/4RB/5WR/2TE/2K/2DT 1 pt per 10 yds/bonus pts @ 100yds. 6pt TD < 10yd | 9pt TD < 40yd | 12pt TD > 40yd Edited July 17, 2006 by Def. SpinalTapp
Don't think twice. Keep S.Jax - not only is he much younger than Holt (keeper consideration), but he could rise to top 5-10 RB status this year.
Caveman_Nick
If you were drafting in a redraft, would you consider picking Holt over SJax?
SpinalTapp
caveman - If I could get SJax in the second round over Holt (assuming that would be the decision), I would take SJax.

That's my point, Sir Holt is a second round player, SJax is a first round player.

soopanuts
I agree with the keeping the two RBs, but I'm curious... 1. Do you start 2 or 3 WRs? 2. Who do you think will be available when you pick 3.6?
irish
If you were drafting in a redraft, would you consider picking Holt over SJax? Wow hit the nail right on the head. I couldn't have put it better myself. This is a no-brainer.

Probably been thinking too much into this since I'd have to take a Tier 2 for my top wideout by the time I get to pick. Appreciate the feedback all. Who do you think will be available when you pick 3.6? We start 3 Wideouts. Im guessing Wayne, R. Williams, or D.Jax would be who I have to choose between. If I'm lucky 1 of the 2 Arizona WR may fall to here.

If I'm lucky 1 of the 2 Arizona WR may fall to here. What RBs might be available at 3.6? With this scoring rule (9pt TD < 40yd) and since you start 3 WR, I could give Holt consideration as well. Considering he was only targeted by the QB 4 times within 10 yards, most of his TDs were outside 10 which means +3 points each time.

I figure the first 21 picks will be in no specific order (including keepers): RB: LJ, LT, SA, Tiki, S.Jax, Edge, Portis, R. Johnson, L. Jordan, Cadillac, Davis, McGahee (Maybe Brown) WR: Harrison, Owens, R. Moss, Fitzpatrick, Holt, C. Johnson, S. Smith (Maybe Boldin) QB: P.Manning Leaving - RB: Brown*, Westbrook, The Jones'es and such... WR: Boldin*, Wayne, R. Williams, Djax and such....
