CaptainHook
Starting Thursday, I'm supposed to write down everything watched in my household for a week. Who, what, when, and where. Pretty simple right? Step One: 11 mutliple choice questions. Step Two: Write in the channel or station name, number, and city for all the channels this set now receives in the spaces below. Step Three: Fill your name in the chart for the days and times, and list the shows you watch. Are they serious? And for my trouble I get 5 dollars in advance? Anybody ever do this? Big John
Never done this. What I would do is just put down your favorite shows currently playing in their time slot. Gives them higher ratings and a higher chance to remain playing and rewards them for putting on programs you like.
billay
My family got one wehn I was about 13. We did it. I think my Dad split the $5 between me and my sister. You'd think they'd be giving out sawbucks by now... I guess the real charm is just to say that you got to do it.
REZ
Our household gets them at least once a year. Wife has always filled them out. Might be why my favorite shows don't seem to get high ratings.

All we got was quarter for each family member .... a friggin dollar for filling out the piece of chit.
Skilly
Interesting: I've never got one of these, and never heard of them. I always thought the Nielsen ratings were compiled by electronic means. How is it that they can tell how many millions of people watched the Super Bowl the day after it happens??
