MojoMan
Apologies if this has been done before. Who is your favorite NATIONAL sportwriter who mainly does NFL?
Bronco Billy
By Mojo, topic sentence: Other (mojo, you're a moran to have forgotten dis guy) Speaks for itself, doesn't it?
Big John
Speaks for itself, doesn't it? That has been adopted as the Huddle of saying "moron" in your absence.

MojoMan
I'm happy to see the Dr. Z hasn't gotten any votes. I think he's way overrated.

rattsass
Its nice to see that the guys that actually know what the hell they are talking about are getting the most votes. Dr. Z? You gotta be kidding me.
yo mama
Dr. Z? You gotta be kidding me. Seriously. I think I'd prefer football advice/info from a drunken Namath. Edited July 18, 2006 by yo mama
Clubfoothead
Seriously. I think I'd prefer football advice/info from a drunken Namath. Drunken Namath has excellent taste in women. Drunken Namaths might be a good name for a fantasy team.
yo mama
Drunken Namaths might be a good name for a fantasy team. It certainly is. Brewer was actually using that as his team name for the last two years in our 12 Men In The Huddle BOTH league. (Though, he misspelled Namath). Swiss Cheezhead
If you're talking about a REPORTER, who writes an occasional column, I gotta go with JAY GLAZER, with Mort and Clayton in a tie for 2nd. If you're talking about a true sportswriter, I'd probably vote for Dan Pompei of TSN, barely ahead of Jason Cole (formerly of the Miami Herald), who just needs more broad-coverage NFL writing experience to get to the top of the list. Avernus
I see Clayton and Mort as equal....and tied for the top... and pasquerelli(sp?) as the next best..
