alexgaddis
I wish I could only spend $1000.00 worth of beer a year...
Big John
With the price of beer and the payout for scrap alumimum, the payout would be far less than $214. But you can still drink into that investment.

In Michigan we have to pay a deposit of .10 and then get it refunded. So our investment would only net $0, 7 hangovers, 1 DUI, 3 hand jobs and an additional $350 spent at Taco Bell. Hat Trick
What is this 'recycling' you speak of? Well I do it for my kids, i have saved over $2000 for them since I started, so to some it may be money that you could care less about, but my kids will thank me tremendously down the road, so mock and laugh all you want, but that shiatt does add up. FWIW, i also have a drunk uncle and my mother in law who saves the cans as well. Edited July 20, 2006 by Hat Trick
