Avernus
the source is the same one that said Routh would play Superman and Bale would play Batman...also Cillian Murphy playing the Scarecrow... http://www.latinoreview.com/news.php?id=736 http://filmforce.ign.com/articles/719/719898p1.html I know the brokeback mountain jokes will surface...but I have faith in anyone Nolan casts.... Avernus
Am I the only fan of him in that role? I thought he was great; freaky as heck.... he was great....but I don't know anyone who liked him as scarecrow before seeing the movie..... I was skeptical but didn't have high expectations for the movie other than knowing Nolan's track record for movies...
Selly
he was great....but I don't know anyone who liked him as scarecrow before seeing the movie..... +1 I liked Murphy as an actor, but really couldn't see him as Scarecrow. For all the crap that Heath Ledger has gotten and will get, he is an amazing actor.

Chavez
Yeah that makes sense. For all the crap that Heath Ledger has gotten and will get, he is an amazing actor. Why would someone give him "crap"? His performances in The Lords of Dogtown, Monster's Ball and, yes, Brokeback Mountain were all varied and utterly convincing. I think he's one of the great actors out there right now. About the only thing to hate on is that he's ridiculously good-looking and married to an absolute hottie.

There are better than Michelle Williams out there IMO, but haven't you learned about the haters out there who will show little "love" for anyone who does anything remotely gay. Chavez
There are better than Michelle Williams out there IMO, but haven't you learned about the haters out there who will show little "love" for anyone who does anything remotely gay. In that case, consider the source. Besides, just a quick list of some people who've played "gay" onscreen - Robin Williams, Al Pacino, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Dennis Quaid, Ian McKellen (well, he plays gay in real life, too), Dustin Hoffman, Tom Hanks, Christian Bale, Mike Myers....pretty good company, IMO. EDIT: on Michelle Williams, I wouldn't dump my wife for her - but I wouldn't exactly kick her out of the hot tub for eatin' crackers, either.
