keep which rbs?

Recommended Posts

Keeper league, can keep 2. 1 pt./10yds. including rec.

Ronnie Brown for sure. What about the other 3? Gado is a longshot, but may be the future in GB and he's only 23. May not help this yr though. Benson supposedly has the starting job but?????? And Dom Davis has been great when he's not F'n HURT! :D

Well....hard to predict future, but as of now...ronnie brown and domanick davis ARE the starters.....Gado has Davenport and Ahman ahead of him...Benson could eventually be starter, but i'd lean towards sure thing in Davis and Brown....heck, Texans DIDNT draft Reggie Bush, so must have some confidence in Davis....!

agreed. unless you get confirmation that benson is the undisputed starter in chicago prior to your deadline, you have to go with davis. things are looking good for benson right now, but much can change between now and the start of the season. there is no doubt around davis' role.

Despite his injury woes, I still think Davis is best option. Wouldn't bet on Gado and Benson has to contend with TJ still.

DD's knee has me worried. But then again Benson sat out Tues. because of swelling so?????

I like Brown and DD. Benson instead of DD would not make or break you. Really a toss up. I heard Benson is the starter.

I'd keep Ronnie Brown and Cedric Benson (Will be the starter for the season, not Thomas Jones...)

me too, DD gets hurt too much

DD and Brown. DD is an injury risk, but a definite starter. Take the starter.

What other players are potential keepers? Unless the rest of your roster is not very good, I'd be a lot more tempted to keep a top WR, Manning, or Gates over the RBs you listed other than R Brown. D Davis & Benson are injury risks, and Benson may not even start. Gado is currently looking good with GB, but the RB situation up there is about as unsettled as any team's in the league.

yes, davis has injury issues, but he is a proven back when he is in there. and i think the texans want to show they did not need bush. i think davis is going to have a great year unless he gets injured. but reality is, anybody can get injured on any given day so take the best available and i say that is davis.

Now Benson hurt his shoulder. Anybody heard how bad? :D

X-rays turned out negative on his shoulder but he has some pain to deal with. He's going to sit out for a bit & they're going to re-evaluate it early next week.

Jones is banged up as well with hamstring issues so Adrian Peterson will probably start the first preseason game. However Jones & Benson should both be healthy for the start of the season if not earlier. I think the starting job is still up for grabs with Benson having a slight lead.

Benson will sit for 2-3 weeks now. Not good since he needs the reps, but I haven't heard abouthim losing the starting job. Now DD sat out again yesterday. :D
