Swiss Cheezhead
Frazia -- VERY nice job on this post. As DMD said, this is what FF is all about. When I get to Arizona, there WILL be an annual live draft in the ECB mold. You scared me for a second there, though. If sky had actually served "sirloins," my high level of respect for him would have plummeted. I was happy to see the huge, BONE-IN ribeyes on the grill; sky did it RIGHT, of course. If I had to take one bite of anything on the planet, it would be a big, square piece of beef from the heart of a bone-in ribeye.
Hugh B Tool
Well it is about 24hrs after the end of our ECB draft. The smoke has somewhat cleared, but the haze in my head still needs foglamps to cut through it. Can you say "Insane in the Membrane" Amazing time and our host was MOST!! Most gracious, most giving, most wise, and above all the MOST down to earth solid individual I have come across in a long, long time, if ever. Thanks again Sky!! It was fantastic. Not sure what put me over the top, but some Mac truck hit me about 12:30am Sunday (right around the time I had to pick up my lady from the airport) and I never got the license plate # Maybe the fifth+ of high quality tequila Jedi and I sipped throughout the draft?. Maybe it was the 8 to 10 Mikes Hard Limes I washed it down with? Maybe it was the half growler of microbrew I drank around the 8th round? Could've been the smoke from the cigars I was firing down or from the cooking?(some skills you never lose) of some of the finest steaks to be had this side of anywhere (where did the hair on my right arm go?? More than likely it was a combo plate of the above ingredients that put the pain in my brain and the need to drink as much water as possible today. BTW any of you people ever drafted a half way decent team while attending to 12 to 14 pound and half steaks and not missing a beat of alcohol consumption?? My thanks to Sky's fine Grandkids!! you two rock Couldn't have done the grillin' without your help. Sky's 16 year old Grandson whom is in the middle of HS football practice loved Hugh's grillin and had at least a couple pounds of steak(good kid, good appetite). Sky's 14 year old grandaughter is about the sweetest most helpful and polite young lady I have met in a long time. Very refreshing to say the least. My team isn't too bad considering the fact if you axed me last night around 11:00 pm to recite my roster to you I could have maybe listed 8 players at best (go in with a plan and don't vary from it no matter what may try to persuade you otherwise) Though it cost me at least $10 in fines drafting players not crossed off other owners cheatsheets (I was very busy, drinking, eating, cooking, drinking, eating and did I say drinking?) All in all GREAT TIME, GREAT LEAGUE, GREAT OWNERS, JUST F'N GREAT!!! Thanks for putting up with me for another GREAT YEAR OF FANTASY FOOTBALL!! Jimmy Neutron
team rosters I'd have to peg the Tacoma Trash as the frontrunner of this league. A few others look pretty good, but will require some luck to excel.

And I resent that you find the need to type something like that. You don't even know him... Edit: The more I think about this the more pissed I get. Randy = Techwarriors here at the Huddle. He is also a close personal friend who I have known longer than anyone here. He was a member of my long time local long before this forum for anonymous attacks was even thought of. You have no clue who he is and to make a statement like that on an extremely active board is totally out of line! You had best hope that his kids don't see your post! Randall
I'd have to peg the Tacoma Trash as the frontrunner of this league. A few others look pretty good, but will require some luck to excel. Well he could have some issues. Bledsoe rumors of losing the job to Romo; DJax injury lingering; Jamal, but tht's why they play the games. I don't really see a knock out team, should be a competetive league.
nogohawk
Actually... it is Rib Eye. And because one cannot find a decent butcher anymore... the dang things are 2 inches thick. Think the smallest one is 1.68LBS. I was so specific in what I wanted too... *sigh* Ah, well. Gonna be a good day. Good stuff! Great pics DGF and the bone-in ribeyes look awesome! Jedi
I agree, those steaks were the size of hubcaps! YES Great Pix Fraz! And by the way, DOMANICK DAVIS will have a HUGH year, just you wait... NO
Down Goes Frazia
I don't really see a knock out team, should be a competetive league. me thinks this too. It's abit different scoring...... QB's get 6 for a TD throw....... start only 1 or 2 RB's...... defenses can put up mass points. We reward return yardage, etc. should be a fun year. the week 1 pot for high score is already up over $100+.

Jedi
Oh and.... The ECB draft has quickly become a favorite of mine. 3rd year now and better each year! Sky, there just aren't enough words. Fraz and DDan, thanks for your service to the league, it runs like a well oiled machine. Hugh, grilling umteen ribeyes to perfection after sharing a 5th of 1800? Fantastic. Your team sucks though, so a big thank you for the sacrifice! To the rest of ECB,

twiley
Looks like a great time. I had a live draft this weekend at my house and one guy got so wasted he drafted 2 kickers, 2 defenses the last 4 rounds and Koren Robinson in the 5th.
