Raider.Nation
Assuming you're drafting with guys who are up on their FF knowledge... I'd say mid 3rd is the earliest he should go, with the 4th being the latest. Last night he was taken at 3.06 in my 14 team keeper league. hollywood_69
i think my league with theohiostate is a pretty competitive league, we drafted in early august before barlow got traded, and gore still went middle 4th round. if i knew what i know now or we waited i would have taken him at 3-11 instead of deshaun foster
wildcat2334
Gore went 5.11 in my local. Our league is pretty solid, I was surprised he lasted that long.
CaptainHook
I got him at 10.8 in a local draft tonight. 12 teams. As you can tell, I was playing with a bunch of FF newbies. Edited August 28, 2006 by CaptainHook
LooGie
I wouldn't take Gore before round 6. There will always be better talent/situations on the board before then. I believe in best player on the board, and while he has the talent, he sure doesn't have the team. If Alex Smith doesn't at least throw 1 TD by the end of pre-season, I might bump Gore up to round 5..maybe 4..since i'm sure Norv will be calling alot of running plays... oraphus
if he is there in the 3rd, i 'll take him in a second
Chadman
Any of you guys seen info and the game since Barlow leaving? Will Gore get the goal line carries - what little of them there may be this year? I am thinking of signing him to a 3 year contract at $7 per year with no escalation. I think he is the real deal and he has gone late third in one draft and I got him for $7 out of a $100 budget in my auction Saturday. Swampnuts
I took him last night in my 12 team local at 6.01. He's my backup to Portis and Jordan, and I was amazed to find him still there. Thank God too, because I needed the depth behind Portis.
Doc Holliday
I know. You were saying those are tougher leagues then other leagues. I'm saying that there are some huddle leagues where the owners are going to be as good as the "experts." I agree...but on a whole from top to bottom I would go with the experts. Wolv
The majority of owners in my league last night came in with FF magazines to draft with. He dropped to me at 6.1 Confident these guys were clueless about Lundy, I waited 15 rounds to draft him. He went the pick before me at 15.
