Mr.OG
What do you all think????? I would hate to lose fast willie but palmer is looking pretty good....and my QBs arent the best. Thanks in advance!
rai
wp = palmer I think you are over-paying (IMO)
Daunted
You would be over paying but I see your desire to want Palmer. If anything, the trade should be Palmer for Willie Parker straight up. IF you go this route, you probably will need the depth at WR to seek another trade for a RB. admtahoe
I don't think you're over paying, Parker is all hype and Im so tired of hearing the name tag of Fast Willie, He is not the fastest man in football so lets give it a rest already. There is a reason he is not ranked in the top 10 of RB's. Palmer is a huge pick up. Palmer will score way more fantasy points than parker You just have to decide if you can afford to part with a #2 RB. If I were in your league I would personally veto this trade. suppasonic
FWP is worth more than Palmer by himself. Who are your current RB and your current QB?
Mr.OG
FWP is worth more than Palmer by himself. Who are your current RB and your current QB? heres my lineup in my sig.......my QBs are alright but have the high possibility of struggling.... suppasonic
I wouldn't do it. You have poor RB depth until Dillon or Foster gets hurt, and that still only makes Maroney or Williams fairly good #3s. Kitna, while he should only be a #2, should be serviceable, and Rivers might surprise some people.
ghengis_chan
No way I trade my RB2 for Palmer. You don't have another starting RB to take his place. I would not make this trade before the season starts....Kitna has some upside in Martz system and Rivers has the same weapons that Brees had, so it's too early to tell how either of these two will do. You can play the matchups weekly until something becomes clearer. There is just too much value in the RB position vs the QB position. Here's an example of your QB schedules for the first 6 weeks: Week- Rivers Schedule- Kitna Schedule- Possible Starter 1- @Oakland- Seattle- Rivers- Oakand has no Defense 2- Tennessee- @Chicago - Rivers- Tennessee has no Defense 3- BYE- Green Bay- Kitna- Green Bay has no Defense 4- @Baltimore- @St.Louis - Kitna- St.Louis has no Defense 5- Pittsburgh - @Minnesota - Kitna- Better Matchup and in a dome. 6- @San Fransisco - Buffalo- Rivers- It's San Fransisco!!!!!! Bottom line ...Be Patient, your QB's don't look so bad now do they? Edited September 3, 2006 by ghengis_chan

Yanxbolts
dude am i missing something? you'd have no 1 starting rb - is the 1 draft where palmer would go ahead of fwp anyways?
