Nuke LaLoosh
I took a flyer on Cedric Benson in the draft and I think T. Jones has the starting gig tied up. Both Tatum Bell and Brandon Jones are available on the waiver wire. We start 2 RBs each week and can only have 4 on the roster at one time. Here are my RBs. Rudi Johnson Clinton Portis Cedric Benson DeAngelo Williams Should I pick up either TBell or Brandon Jones (goal line carries for a potent offense) or should I sit tight with Benson? 6pts per TD and 1 pt/10 yds rushing/rec. Need to do my free agent submissions tonight. Thanks! Will answer your post
yo mama
Wow. I'm not sure what shocks me more: that you think Thomas Jones has the starting spot locked up, or that Tatum Bell is on waivers in your league. Give me a minute to let that all sink in and I'll be back in a moment.

yo mama
Upon further reflection, I think you should drop DeAngelo Williams and add Tatum Bell.

Yo, you really think that I should drop Williams instead of Benson? Are you seeing something in Chicago that I'm not. I have a nervous feeling about dropping Benson but knowing that Foster can't stay healthy getting out of the shower, I thought Williams would be a great addition. yo mama
Yo, you really think that I should drop Williams instead of Benson? Are you seeing something in Chicago that I'm not. Benson has present value (because he'll get at least some touches every week on a run-first team with a killer DEF) *and* speculative future value (because Thomas Jones has NOT done enough to lock down the starting postion, which means Benson could still pry it out of Jones' talons). D. Williams does have potential future value *if* Foster gets hurt, but little present value. Besides, Carolina, as a team, is looking real iffy right now. Maybe Steve Smith returns and everything is hunky-dorry. Maybe not. Look at it this way: - Tatum earned more points last week that Benson and Jones combined. - Tatum earned more points than Foster and DeAngelo Williams combined. - Tatum Bell is always going to get touches, so will Benson. But will Williams? With Williams you're banking on potential. But with the practicle limitations of just four RBs on your roster, I think it's smarter to invest in present production. And with Benson and Tatum, you get both. Edited September 14, 2006 by yo mama

Now I just hope I can get TBell at the #6 Waiver position out of 10 owners. Thanks guys! You can always count on the Huddlers

Chump Men
Pick up Bell and drop Williams. Bell has already proven to be valuable in a 2 HB backfield last year.
Guest Mutine Bullfrog
T Bell on the waiver wire??? Can I join your league next year. Drop Williams for Bell. Williams is dead on yor bench until someone gets hurt.
theprofessor
I would drop Benson and pick up T. Bell. The only downside is that you have to deal with Shanahan all year!
theprofessor
I'm assuming that you mean Brandon Jacobs?
